I love my girlfriend - I knew her first as a fellow human, then as a close friend, and now have come to know her as a lover. I love her in all of these aspects, never failing to only see her in only one light, but rather have my perspective to be that she is all of these, for she is, to me, as such.
I love my mother for she is my mother and there is an innate bond that can be found between a parent and there offspring. She is both parent and friend to me.
I love three friends - for each of them, I share a certain bond, a particular tie, with each of them that causes me to see them almost as brothers and sisters. The kind of love that can be felt between siblings, this is the form of love that I share with them.
I love five people, that is all.
You are not yet one of them and most likely never will be, for I do not love many due to the nature of my upbringing and character.

I know there are a few people who I can honestly say that I love. That depresses me. I want to say that I love all of my friends, but I think it's just affection, at the most, since I'm not really that close with most of them to love them. Oh well.
