There be no point to a gold chocobo. I don't see why they couldn't add the colour in, but making it hard to get would be pointless.

Well, the point would be to make everybody want one.
Once you raise your chocobo to an adult can you call it anywhere? It'd be awesome to have a chocobo on call whenever you needed one.

Heard all of them start yellow but change later.
