Back in the 80's I was an alcoholic, and that got me in a lot of trouble. I still visit the rehab now and then, and was even on Dr. Phil. He told me I was f'ing crazy. It helped a lot.
I've committed arrestable offences, but I've never been arrested.
I've committed HUNDREDS of arrestable offenses but I've never been caught.
I'm not sure what you mean (was it bantam who said it?) by stupid things, but whatever...
