It's worth it to at least wait until after Christmas when the bustle has died down.
I won't be personally buying a PS3 as I have not yet (to this date) purchased a console. I'm content with my PCs.

I've been planning to buy it all along. I might not if that rumor about prices being 100$ per game actually is proven, though. If Sony is actually considering this hopefully from the reactions so far they won't. I'd rather buy an expensive console than high-priced games.
EDIT: Given the fact that it may have problems at launch as other posters said, I think I'll wait a bit as well.
I most certainly will not. This is because of obvious production faults and the high price.
I'll wait till it's game library gets more good games, and less non-racing games.
Probably not.
games < music
so i should wait till it cools down to pay a ps3 and maybe the price would go down a little
Even if the PS3 were affordable, I still wouldn't get one at launch thanks to Sony's craptastic track record with its first batches of systems, not to mention no games for it to be released at launch interest me right now.
Im still mesmorised by my PS2 games and more are still to come. where as all MS's support to the xbox1 has stoped. :mad2: At least Sony is still suporting the curent gen.
