Pop. That's a funny word. I say soda, but pop is a funny word. I never heard it called pop until I came here. Well, that's a lie. I just never noticed it being called pop. I guess in my country it is called soda pop.

Oh, whatever.
Heh, I hate the American names for it. I just call it by the actual drink's name, or say 'soft drink'.
Soft drink, fizzy drinks. Grragh.
i would call it coke but soda maybe?
I love the last option, but I'll have to go with 'Pop', as always.
My Grandad always used to say 'Pop', so the word has a special place in my heart.
P...Pop...?
This is blasphemy! I propose a war against the sovereignty of 'pop'! They shall be devoured in our fury!

But with an 'S'.
It's pop, you crazies.
Us Kansans say pop, but I say soda!
Actually I believe you're looking for the Japanese that literaly translated is spelled "soo desu" and romanized to a more "soo des" sounding type of thing. So I guess if you say soda REALLY funny, it could be right. At least in Japan. Otherwise we definitely have to go with pop here.
In the small town of Minnesota where I was born, if you called it pop, people would throw you out of the place. It's soda. I say pop most of the time now because I get stared at funny if I say soda, but I say soda when I'm at home.
