I just thought saying PSX was more Xtreme.
Just remember that if you call it PSX that you support the terrorists!
And now we know, and knowing is half the battle.

Since the actual PSX was a dismal failure and is often forgotten, if not totally unknown to the majority of the gaming public, the Playstation gets to keep the name PSX. It doesn't matter if it was coined by the media or not, it's always been the most highly accepted abbreviation.
On another note, I would rather call Wii games Revolution games. I still think Wii is the dumbest name I've heard in a long time for a console.
Spank that WII!
You know what I say instead of PSX when I'm speaking with my words?
Playstation.
I would normally refere to the them as PS1, but the majority of references of them as PSX slowly have converted me.. Forgive my failure.. i will atone :)
I call them Playstation games or Playstation 2 games. Or, more often than not, I use actual names of the games. Unless, of course, I am asking a question about how many games of a specific system a person owns. Otherwise, I'm pretty good with the whole thing.
I have used PSX to describe it because I never heard of this "digital video recorder" you call a PSX.
You guys crack me up! :D :D :D :D
I just say 'PS1'. I honestly didn't know what everyone was going on about 'PSX games' until now. :cat:
I'll say PSX just to spike chadmonkey.
Spike? Dude, this is a PG-13 forum.
Referring to the PS as the "PSX" is highly incorrect and always has been. Fortunately, it's mostly fall out of use in recent years.
i've always called them playstation...and the ps2....
if someone wants to call it the psx, good for them.
