Hmm... well, I've got myself a copy of WoW now. Not bad, not bad at all.
WoW hands down.
I sure as hell Enjoy playing WoW...but I have to admit there are some obvious flaws when compaired to FFXI
1: unlike FFXI, you cant change classes without making a new character.
2: actually FFXI is cheaper than wow, but like 3 dollars a month if you only have 1 character.
3: I have had run ins with crappy comunity moments, so the comunity isnt as "perfect" as some of you might hope.
I think thats the end of my complaining....for now
WoW and FFXI.... are in a lot of ways similar... each has their pluses and their minuses. I personally liked FFXI better because for some reason I wound up with some good friends when I first started. Playerkillers can be tricky in WoW... which can be annoying especially at lower levels. THe inability to change classes freely is also annoying to me, because although I largely play mages or paladins, I like to test other things out because I'm an adventurer... as well as the cat curiousity killed.
I currently though play mostly Guild Wars... because its free online play, and I'm in university... so I don't always have money for monthly fees... Although.. I did save for PSU... but that was in the yearly budget.
Runescape is OK, btu it gets boring after lvl 60 and the graphics are bad. I like Knight Online. It's like a free, scaled down WoW, or so I've heard. I've heard ffxi has some major server issues. Um, but Knight Online has this thing, where if more than 1800 ppl are on a server and more than 80% of those r free players, only premiums can login there. also, if you make a character on one server, then make a character on another server, u can't move on to another server.
Kal Online=bad.
Oh common. Runescape's, excuse the expression, nuts. It has always been nuts and it'll always stay... nuts! It's only good for keeping your left mouse button warm.
Hero Online, all the way.
Hero.netgame.com
this game is awesome, and the pet system is very good. Client download is only about 400+ megabytes, and takes very little time to start up.
If you do get on, I'm Sipheria on it. I can help you out, as I help many noobs out by partying up with them and leveling them up. They ususally return the favor in the future, which shows the community is nice.
-Awesome skills.
-Ability to fly and walk on water (after obtsaining skill)
-Free to play (some items can be bought for pay-pal)
-Pet system (come on, how tight is it to ride on a giant wolf that can charge through enemies and rip them apart?)
-Amazing graphics
just check it out, it's awesome. Just don't do Endless Online. Even though it's free and runs on dial-up, never, ever do it.... ugh...
Yeah, Hero Online, all the way.
its fun :)
Hero Online is an extremely well created Grinder MMORPG, and Unlike WoW it has a more developed skill build system, additions of bought skills and class chosen skills.
world of warcraft u can make up to 10 chars on each server for each account one accounts about 15 bucks amonth with credit card or u can get 2 month cards from a gamestore for 30.
I thought it was 50 per server...
seee, constant Nerfs.
I lol'd because you're an idiot (as per every other post you make), it's 50 characters per account, always has been, always will be.
Note how Blizzard won't delete your character if you stop playing either.
Oh and every MMO has pretty terrible communities full of morons, it's just they're far more prevalent on free MMOs (which are ALWAYS crap, seriously, I've played at least twenty of 'em)
Anyway, screw 'em all and wait for Warhammer Online.
