I think Quina is an odd one gender wise...

it looks female-ish. but has a motive for joining that confuses me.

But it's the question that will never die, simply because it has no actual answer.

I've seen this way too many times before. I think the conclusion usually reached is that Quina's gender is indeterminable, and therefore asexual. Either that, or people stop caring just long enough that they forget and start yet another one of these threads.:p

I'm going through the game right now and I noticed this.
Then again I didn't have any male-only equipment, so maybe s/he uses both?

The Final Fantasy games have three female party members each. Garnet, Freya, and Eiko. :D

I prefer to think of Quina as a girl because she can equip tiaras and Zidane's 'Protect Girls' abiltity works on him/her. Plus he/she wears stockings.

Also I was wondering, is Quina the chef in Alexandria castle in the beginning? It looks just like him/her.

Quina doesn't have a gender. S/he is just a Qu.

Actually, remember Vivi's Qu Grandfather? That implies Quan was a male Qu, proving that Qu's do have genders.

I know this can't even be proven, but I think Quina may be a female.

well, protect girls works on quina, but when you are recruiting quina, Quan says "HE". I bet thats a slip of the toungue for square and Quina isnt supposed to have a specific gender.
