I would turn it in.

Take the money and dump in the wallet, then turn it in. Anyone stupid enough to drop their wallet deserves to get it back full of crap. :D

If I saw a wallet on the ground, I wouldn't even touch it. If I see paper money, though, I take it and don't give it a second thought. I guess it's because the wallet would be too personal for me to want to deal with.

Return it. My self respect is worth more than $20. But then, I'm not broke, if I was....

Well, if I just found it on a random street, I'd leave it. Cause it did have an ID in it. If it was just a $20 bill on the floor I'd probably take it. But not a wallet. :p But If I saw who dropped it, I'd give it to them. :)

I wouldn't touch it. There are too many hidden camera TV shows these days

if the ID has an address i'd try to return it in person, if not i'd give it to the cops...yes i'd leave the money, it's only 20 bucks

I'd pick it up, have a look at the ID, and wait around 5 minutes to see if the person comes back to look for it. If they don't, and there was an address or phone number or something which I could use to get in contact with them, I would drop in/call the number. If all else fails, I would hand it in to the cops. I wouldn't take the money.

If it was a wallet, I'd hand it into the police. If it was just $20 lying on the ground, I would take it.
