Great map clear and concise! But they should've labeled the rooms to make navigating the great crystal easier. If you use this map, you are bound to get lost at one point if you don't pay close precise attention. Since you don't know where you are when you hit the "select" key to check your location status. Also this map doesn't tell you where the treasure rooms are. Mine does!Quote:

The map is from my site. If you could add the positions of the different treasures with the markeing tool there (http://www.ff12maps.com?map=greatcrystal -> select the pencil in the round menu and place the marker on the room), it would be great! :)

I did not added the room names, because 1. it would be a mess of text, and 2. you can orientate yourself by looking at the switch- or gatenames. :)
ok i looked at the good map from ff12maps and i see it all clear but where exactly is the excalibur it doesn't say? is it one of the letters? like what do the letters "S" "C" "P" mean? and so on..
Yeah I'd ahve to go with the GameFAQS submitted version of the Great Crystal's map for the best navigation. I just got done roaming the area for Ultima and to check out Omega, and that map worked perfectly.

I found Excalibur in option# 2. I'm not sure though if it is the same evertime. I got the Excalibur on my first try at the crystal. The other 2 took me a few more tries.

But the shield took a while to spawn.
