Two figures faced off on either side of a massive tree. Both stood on the knotted branches, from which large amounts of mist emanated, obscuring their vision.
One was a man, with blue hair that ended in three impressive strands that protruded from either side and from the front. He wore a baggy black jacket that covered his arms, and a red shirt that left his chest bare. Green robes covered his legs, tapering off into black with white patterns drawn on them. In his right hand he held a large staff with an intricate head that emanated mystic power. His face was sternly arrogant, with an inborn knowledge of his own superiority.
The other was a woman, with curly black hair and ornate (albeit tattered) robes. She held a wooden wand in her hand, and her eyes glinted with cruel malice.
"The next battle is between Seymour Guado and Bellatrix Lestrange," Light said from his perch in the tree's boughs.
"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Bellatrix shouted, before the signal to begin had even been given.
A flash of green light enveloped Seymour. When it passed, he was still standing, albeit somewhat puzzled.
His puzzlement, however, was no match for Bellatrix's. She was staring at him, slack-jawed.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU DIE!?" she shrieked.
"Is that what that was supposed to do?" Seymour asked, idly flipping his hair out of his eye. "I suppose I failed to mention before, but I'm already dead."
As he said this, pyreflies began emitting from his body, their varicolored light illuminating the area. As he said this, Bellatrix began backing away, completely out of her element.
"My turn," he said, raising his arm. "Firaga!"
A fiery explosion burst forth from Seymour's palms. Bellatrix shrieked in pain as it enveloped her. As it cleared, she was staggering backwards, horrid burns all over her body and her hair smoldering.
"You appear to be somewhat hot," Seymour said in a detached, mocking tone. "Please, allow me to cool you off. Blizzaga!"
Lances of ice burst forth from his palm, impaling Bellatrix and killing her instantly.
"Seymour Guado is the winner," Light said.

The second battle is between Dracula and Kefka. It will take place on the rooftops of New York City. The fight will be posted either Friday or Saturday. Betting will be open until that time.
Seymour already being dead put poor Bellatrix in a real ugly position :D.
As for Kefka versus Dracula. I will put 20,000 on Kefka. Kefka may have been a bit of a pushover but he still is cool :p. In all seriousness as long as Kefka keeps remains calm and doesn't gloat too much in the fight it should be an easy win for him I would think[Of course Kefka won't do either by normal standards but I am talking calm and non-gloating for him, not for the normal person]. Anyways I am really looking forward to this one; Kefka is a very fun character and I am hoping you manage to convey him well :D.
I bid 230,200 on Kefka.
EDIT: I now will bank on Kefka!!!
Oh smurf. I thought I'd already betted. :|
Isn't this Dracula meant to be immortal? Not that that makes him an ultimate warrior, but every loser so far has died, and Kefka is the only one of the two that can die. But, if this match was a foregone conclusion, Dracula would've been banned. So, 331,742 on Kefka.
24,500 Kefka.
Remember, incapacitation is permitted, and Dracula's able to be beaten (as is shown regularly by the Belmont family).
Bellatrix got wrecked..

So long as Kefka dose not use light of judgement (at its full power anyway) or the belmont family's famous whip, I think the lord of all vampires stands a pritty good chance in this one. I'l put 10,000 on Mathias Cronqvist (Dracula), please.
I'm too conservative for this. 5,000 on Kefka.
666,000 on Kefka.
Yeah, I know I disappeared for a long while. I want to get back into this. Could you give me a reminder on how much money I have?
82,000 on Kefka.
90 Billion on whoever isn't Kefka. I didn't check. >_>
umm 20k on kefka. Plz dracula suck...ass.
I put your account back up, Sigma.
I'm going to go ahead and assuming the 90 billion isn't in earnest and won't count it as a bet.

I'm going to bid 210,000 on Kefka.
10,000 on Kefka.
Two figures stood atop huge skyscrapers, cloaks billowing in the wind.
One was a man in green and red, with garish white paint covering his face. Red markings were drawn around his eyes, and his eyes themselves were maniacal and without compassion.
The other was a tall man with a pale face. He was dressed in rich black and red clothing, with a flowing long black cape. Above him floated a figure holding a scythe in crooked, skeletal fingers. The figure wore purple robes, and its face was obscured by its hood.
"The next battle is between Kefka and Dracula," Light said. "Begin."
Kefka immediately began laughing, a loud and bone-chilling sound.
"Uwehehehehehe! I see my opponent is too weak to come by himself."
"Silence, cur!" Dracula said in a booming voice. "I am Count Dracula, the master of Death! My companion accompanies me through a shared desire to see you, and all others fall."
Kefka laughed harder.
"What kind of a speech is that? You sound like you beat up an 80's villain and stole his dialogue!"
Dracula's face grew angry.
"I have no more words for you! DIE!"
Opening his cape, he unleashed a wave of fireballs. Still laughing, Kefka waved his hand and hurled a burst of ice. The attacks met in midair, exploding into steam.
Death launched himself forward, scythe extended. Waving his hands, Kefka hurled a vicious bolt of lightning that stopped Death in midair and blasting his body backwards.
Dracula vanished in a swarm of bats, which quickly rematerialized behind Kefka. Without missing a beat, he opened his cloak and huge balls of flaming earth burst forth from it, hurling themselves at Kefka.
Kefka lightly skipped away. "BLIZZAGA!" he shouted, bolts of ice bursting forth and slamming into Dracula's attack. The opposing forces met and once again canceled each other, falling harmlessly to the ground.
Death burst forward from behind Kefka, who was now hovering above the open sky. Slamming into his back, he slashed at Kefka with his scythe, opening a huge gash in his back. The arc of the cut appeared to have almost severed his spine, but Kefka's movement had brought the scythe instead down his back, drawing more blood but not dealing a crippling blow.
"ARGH!" Kefka screamed, falling forward. "MERTON!"
The air around him exploded with fire. When it cleared, Kefka was once again hovering in midair, cackling wildly. The area around them was devestated, the skyscraper tops having been blasted free from the buildings they had been attached to. Kefka, as well as Dracula and Death were still on fire, their clothing burning. Dracula was standing on a ruined skyscraper, while Death was floating behind Kefka. Without missing a beat, Kefka turned his finger to Death, lightning crackling on its tip.
"THUNDAGA!" he shouted, impaling Death upon a lance of lightning and blasting him towards the street.
As Death plummeted to the ground, screaming in pain, Dracula extended his cloak.
"SOUL STEAL!"
Death's body disintegrated into black particles, which flew towards Dracula. Dracula laughed, his voice growing deeper. His body expanded, taking on a demonic appearance as huge, spiked wings grew from his back. Now towering over Kefka, he leapt into the air.
"DIE!" he shouted, extending his wings and bringing them down on Kefka, attempting to crush him within their blades.
Kefka's eyes shone with an eerie brilliance as an aura of blue light enveloped him.
"ULTIMA!" he shouted.
As the blades came down on Kefka, they stopped as blue energy began to expand outward from him. The blue energy continued to grow, forcing Dracula to bring his wings back and take flight to avoid it. Further and further it grew, annihilating anything in its path. Finally, the spell exploded, unleashing waves of magical energy that slammed into Dracula, lancing his body and causing fierce wounds to appear on it.
As the dust cleared, Kefka stood, still cackling in the center of widespread devestation. What had once been a bustling city was nothing more than a smoking crater of destroyed earth. Kefka's wound was still there, his blood running freely down his back, although he seemed completely unaware of its presence.
Above him, Dracula floated, his wings beating slowly. Several bleeding holes could be seen on his body, and his face was twisted with rage. Opening his wings, Dracula unleashed a swarm of huge balls of fire, the flames arcing towards Kefka.
Drawing his finger through the air, Kefka drew a line of magic. "METEOR!" he shouted, as the line opened a rift into space. Huge flaming boulders hurled forth from the rift, breaking through the fireballs with ease. Dracula frantically beat his wings in order to gain altitude, but the meteors were just too big. One took his left foot off completely, and another hit him squarely in his chest.
Howling with rage, Dracula brought his wings and claws to bear, shattering the meteor before it could do more damage. Screaming like a feral animal, he hurled himself at Kefka, his claws and fangs extended.
"BLIZZAGA!" Kefka shouted, conjuring massive spikes of ice to meet Dracula.
Dracula's momentum was far too great, and he could not stop the charge. The spikes impaled his body just as his wings impaled Kefka.
The two bodies hurled through the air for a moment, before Kefka was able to halt their momentum with his magic. Dracula was barely alive at this point, and Kefka wasn't in much better of a position. Both were bleeding profusely from their many wounds, and Dracula was barely conscious. Suddenly, Kefka began to laugh.
Dracula stirred just in time to see blue energy envelop Kefka once more.
"ULTIMA!" Kefka shouted, spitting blood at Dracula's face.
Dracula didn't move, his wings impaled on Kefka as they were, he didn't really have the option of moving. He could only stand there as the energy expanded outward, enveloping him and obliterating his body entirely.
As the dust cleared over the huge crater Kefka's second Ultima had created, the sound of Kefka's laughter could be heard echoing through the area.
"Kefka is the winner!" Light said, emerging from a pile of rubble.

Thats becuase he's pansy ass clowen, and thats all he really ever dose :eep:. Ah well, interesting fight though, i especialy liked the inclusion of Death. Props for not skipping over the details.
And I'l put 10,000 onGilgamesh, please.
If you don't mind, I'm takeing the 200,000 I had from the grand tournament.
I'll bet... 10,000 on gilgamesh :d

10 G's on Gilgamesh please.
I don't have a clue who the hell Ovan is. 2.5k on him.
gonna have to bet 123,500 on Ovan.
80,000 on Gilgamesh.
30k on ovan
I'll put 25,000 on Gigamesh.
Not sure if he will win; but I am too tired/ill to try and look much on Ovan. So to Gilgamesh I go.
Anime vs FF? This is going to be a quick fight. :rolleyes2
799,999 on Ovan.
I wouldn't say it's based off of an anime. The series is multi-media. The anime just happened to come/occur before the game.
Plus, you don't actually FIGHT him or anything until the game. So uh, his powers? Only revealed IN THE GAME. In the anime, he spends most of his time being enigmatic, manipulative, or trapped in some place getting his character tinkered with/examined.
Geezus =/ What is, is. It's getting annoying how much you're whining about this. 'Tis a game, yes?
And besides, Ovan can't be -that- overpowered. He's quite easy to beat if you're the right level on the game (Though he's a real ******** if you're lower). All it takes is the strength of a main character (or three) and down he goes.
41k Ovan
50k on Ovan
I forgot also, "Love for Starlight."
Actually, by reading some of these posts, I wanna bet all my cash on this Ovan fellow.
10k on this Ovan fellow.
Just a reminder. All further violations of this will be deleted. Also, I hope anyone who intends to play .hack//G.U. has beaten Reminisce.Quote:

In his hands he held six swords of varying shape and design. One sword appeared to be a blade combined with a flintlock, another, a thick blue crystal blade. From one of the swords emerged a skull on the base of the blade, and another sword was a huge flat piece of metal with the kanji for nise (fake) inscribed on it in black. Another was the shape of a large katana and yet another was a golden sword with an elaborate guard. At his heels was a savage-looking green and white wolf, whose fangs were barred menacingly.
The other was a calm-looking man with circular red glasses and a white trenchcoat with blue lining. He wore a long blue scarf and a blue shirt, as well as white pants. He bore no weapon, but his left arm was encased in a huge white steel barrel, almost as tall as he was. The barrel had a large padlock on it. He held no other apparent weapon.
"The next fight is between Gilgamesh and Ovan," Light said as he laid on a divan on an elevated, throne-like platform. An energetic blonde girl dressed in a rather slinky toga was behind him eagerly feeding him grapes.
"Begin."
"Go, Enkidu!" Gilgamesh shouted in an overwhelmingly powerful and arrogant voice.
Enkidu burst forward, charging at Ovan as fast as he could.
Calmly, Ovan reached behind his back and clutched what appeared to be open air. A flash of light appeared around his hand as he pulled his hand forward, and a long gun with a huge green blade running along the barrel emerged from the light.
Bringing it forward, Ovan loosed a shot, which Enkidu adeptly dodged, skidding across the ground before bolting forward again.
Ovan seemed to smirk, before raising his gun and driving it into Enkidu's flank, scooping the surprised dog into the air. Enkidu's yelp of pain grew even louder as Ovan fired, launching the wolf off the the bayonet. It landed in a corner, bleeding from its side and unable to stand.
"ENKIDU!" Gilgamesh shouted as he extended his arms, bringing his swords to bear. With a ferocious howl of rage, he charged forward, straight at Ovan.
Ovan's expression changed slightly as he blocked the first sword swipe with his bayonet, before bringing his arm forward to block several more strokes.
Gilgamesh kept pounding on Ovan's arm with his blades, and cracks started running across the metal. His face now deadly serious, Ovan fired his gun once at Gilgamesh before jumping back. Gilgamesh took the shot and staggered slightly, giving Ovan a chance to regain his footing.
His arm was heavily cracked, and a black, fluid-like substance was slowly seeping out of the cracks. Looking at it, Ovan sighed.
At that moment, Gilgamesh recovered his balance and began his charge again, all swords held ready to slice into Ovan.
Ovan fired several more shots at Gilgamesh, halting him. Reaching behind his back, light enveloped his gun and it vanished.
The black liquid began to spread from Ovan's arm and began enveloping Ovan's body.
"What the hell are you?" Gilgamesh growled.
However, Ovan didn't reply. His eyes widened and grew more feral as the black liquid encompassed him completely. Just before he disappeared entirely from view, he exhaled, a sharp, hissing sound that curdled the blood.
His body began to reshape itself, growing smaller as it hung suspended in the air. Gilgamesh drew back as the black liquid receded, revealing a much different figure than he had been fighting just before.
The figure was much shorter, and dressed in a dull orange cap, tunic, and trousers, the latter two of which appeared heavily stitched together. He wore large brown gloves, which also appeared stitched together, and his face was a pale blue. Triangular orange markings appeared on his face, and his eyes glowed a malicious red.
Hissing, the figure reached behind it and drew forth two black daggers. The daggers seemed to expand as they turned into a three-point blade.
Gilgamesh frowned sternly, now quite serious. Bringing his blades to bear, he charged at the figure once again.
Ovan, now the entity known as "Tri-Edge" parried with his blades, his movements swift. Gilgamesh attacked with a flurry of blows, each of his six swords working in tandem.
Tri-Edge brought his left blade up, making quick adjustments with his arms to deflect the flurry of steel. Drawing back his right arm, he brought it forward just as Gilgamesh slashed. The blades impacted, and Gilgamesh was sent flying.
Gilgamesh quickly recovered, sliding across the floor on one knee. Tri-Edge began to walk calmly forward as Gilgamesh sprang forward once more, his swords raised.
Tri-Edge flipped his own blades around, striking at the same moment as Gilgamesh. The strike knocked Gilgamesh flat on his back, causing two of his swords to go flying out of his hands. The blades landed several yards away, sliding across the floor.
Gilgamesh slowly got to his feet, his head spinning.
"Very well!" he shouted. "Face my ultimate weapon! EXCALIPOOR!"
Sheathing his swords, he drew forth an ornate blue greatsword. Grasping it in all six of his hands, he charged forward.
Tri-Edge watched calmly, sheathing his blades. As Gilgamesh raised the blade to strike, Tri-Edge extended his hand. The blade was wrested from Gilgamesh's grip as Tri-Edge raised his arm, elevating the blade above their heads. Gilgamesh gasped in anguish as the blade shattered, dissolving into green light.
Before he could react further, Tri-Edge brought his hand to Gilgamesh's face, pushing him backwards and sending him sliding across the floor.
Calmly, Tri-Edge extended his arm. A glowing band of red energy encircled his arm as Gilgamesh watched, transfixed. Energy began gathering in the center, before it was released in a lance of light that pierced Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh screamed in pain as his body was suspended, impaled upon the beam of light. Then, just as suddenly as it had come, the beam vanished, and Gilgamesh fell to the ground, his body beginning to break up into flecks of green light.
"Ovan is the winner," Light said after a short pause, swallowing a grape.

lets start!!!
Who the snick is melfice?
Two figures faced off on the parapet of a towering stone castle with graceful green spires jutting from it.
One was a man dressed in a white breastplate with long, blue hair. His gauntlets and greaves were also white, as was the inside of his cloak, which billowed in the air. The cloak bore red trim, and was dark blue on the outside. He wore brown trousers, and at his side was belted a sword with wicked spikes protruding from the guard.
The other was a cruel and vicious looking man with a pale, noseless face, yellowed teeth and eyes that burned with hatred. He wore tattered black robes, and his posture was somewhat hunched over. In his hand he held a wood wand, and he floated above the tower, his cloak billowing in the wind.
"The next battle is between Melfice and Voldemort," Light said from one of the taller towers. He appeared extremely bored. "Begin."
Melfice shot forward like an arrow from a bow, his sword leaping into his hands. Grasping it firmly, he leapt into the air just as Voldemort leveled his wand at him.
"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Voldemort shouted as a jet of green light enveloped Melfice.
Melfice's body was hurled backwards, and he hit the ground solidly.
Voldemort seemed satisfied, until Melfice slowly began to rise. Hissing in a sibilant language that sounded almost like that of a serpent, Voldemort addressed his foe.
"Why do you still live?"
Melfice slowly stood, blood trickling down his face.
"I am no weak, ordinary human," he said. "I will not be felled so easily."
"So be it!" Voldemort snarled. "At least you're making this sporting! Confringo!"
A jet of light flew from Voldemort's wand. Melfice jumped back just in time to avoid being struck, and when the light hit the wall it caused a huge explosion, firing debris everywhere.
Melfice dodged again and again as Voldemort sent several more spells wizzing his way. Trying to take the offensive, he began jumping forward, preparing to leap at Voldemort, who was hovering in midair above him.
"SECTUMSEMPRA!"
Melfice suddenly cried out in pain as a huge, jagged cut appeared across the length of his body. His breastplate fell away as blood began to flow freely from his wound.
"CRUCIO!"
Melfice's cries of pain intensified as he began to howl with agony, his sword clutched tightly in his hands. Slowly, he dropped to his knee, the pain absolutely unbearable.
Voldemort laughed, a high-pitched and deeply disturbing sound.
"Pathetic," he said. "Still, I suppose you may be of some use to me. IMPERIO!"
Melfice's cries of pain stopped, and his eyes went blank. He lay on the ground for a moment, until Voldemort waved his wand, causing him to rise. As he did so, his body jerked as if attempting to resist the commands.
"That won't do," Voldemort said. "I suppose we'll have to go with our initial plan then. AVADA KEDAVRA!"
This time, Melfice was in no state to resist. The spell washed over him, and in the next instant all life had fled his eyes.
"Voldemort is the winner," Light said without even looking up from the black notebook he was writing in.

Too easy, 50K on Kuja.
Void, you seemed to of not doubled my initial bet of 500,000, so I should of resulted in getting double that, equaling the total amount of 2,320,800 for my balance.
Other than that, I'm placing all my cash on Kuja.
15k on Kuja and his mad Dark Messenger hair flip.
I change my vote, bank on Kuja.
I'm sorry, I think my last bet of 4k may not have been counted by the last battle, which would leave me with 8k, now. 5,000 if which i would lke to bet on Kuja, please.:)
Updated accounts appropriately, sorry about that.

Bank on Kuja. :monster:
I think I'l follow suit and change my bet from 5,000 to my bank on kuja, please. :greenie:
OOC: Yeah, mismatch much?
Two figures faced off inside the cramped bridge of a huge spaceship.
One was a huge creature that could barely fit within the ship. He was a turtle, with a green spiked shell on his back and hugely muscular yellow arms and legs. His head was green, except for an elongated tan snout, and a shock of red hair ran along his head. Around his arms, legs, wrists and ankles were black, spiked bracelets, and small but sharp claws grew from his fingers.
The other was an extremely beautiful man with long white hair. He wore flowing white sleeves that ended in puffy purple shoulders, connected by a cloth that covered his upper chest. He also wore black thigh-high boots and a purple thong, which trailed a diaphanous white skirt.
"The next battle is between Kuja and Bowser," Light said from a control room outside the ship. "Begin."
"Thundaga," Kuja said in a bored tone of voice. A blast of wicked lightning shot forth from his hand and launched Bowser out of the ship and into the metal wall of the docking bay in which the ship was parked. Bowser flew into the ceiling, his back spikes sticking into it and pinning him to the wall. Kuja easily floated out of the room, but Bowser was already unconscious, his eyes swirling.
"Kuja is the winner," Light said, bored.

50k on vyers hope to get some real amount of money.
hmm.
1,000,000 on Midboss.
128k on Darthy. Any Sith would quickly conquer the dank excrement out of a lousy Mid-Boss.
All my money on Vyers, wait, am I meant to be here ._.?
(It was speculated that Vyers was Laharls's Father Re-incarnated, so ... ooooh~?).
Eh... betting's getting higher. Change mine to 1,880,000 on Mid-Boss.
I'm back! Too bad Inque and Kagura didn't make it in the tourney...:(
But anyways, I would like to bet...
1,000 on Darth Traya
Two figures faced off in the middle of a huge bridge, its graceful arches running alongside the long stretch of stone.
One was an older woman wearing a long brown cloak that obscured her eyes. She bore three small rods of metal that could easily fit in the palm of her hand, each of which was tied to her belt.
The other was a flamboyant man with purple hair and pointed ears. He wore a collared black and red vest, as well as a pair of black pants and his face was locked in an extremely arrogant expression.
"The next battle is between Darth Traya and Mid-Boss," Light said from his perch on one of the bridge's gatehouses.
"IT'S NOT MID-BOSS!" Mid-boss immediately shouted back, enraged. "I AM THE DARK ADONIS VYERS!"
"Begin," Light said, ignoring Mid-Boss entirely.
Traya calmly drew forth one of the metal rods. A blade of green glowing energy suddenly appeared from it, extending just a bit over three feet.
Without missing a beat, she extended her empty left hand, unleashing a stream of lightning at Mid-Boss.
"WHOA!" Mid-Boss shouted, moving swiftly to dodge the lightning. Traya arced her hand, and the lightning moved with Mid-Boss, slamming into his chest and shocking him.
"Not bad, madmoiselle!" He shouted as he began to run at her, moving so fast his body appeared as a blur.
Mid-Boss seemed to vanish, appearing behind Traya and unleashing a spinning kick.
A glow emerged from Traya's cloak as a blue beam of light shot out of the back.
"Whoa!" Mid-Boss shouted as Traya's lightsaber nearly sliced his leg off. He quickly retreated as Traya calmly withdrew the lightsaber from her cloak, now wielding two, one in either hand.
Mid-Boss drew back to assuage the situation.
"I suppose I can't take you lightly," he said, his voice suddenly a lot calmer and more mature.
Reaching into his vest, he somehow drew forth a longsword with a rune-engraved blade.
Bringing the blade behind him, fire wrapped around it as he shot forward again, a wave of ten yellow balls of energy bursting from his left hand.
"Overlord's Wrath!"
Traya's mouth seemed to tighten as the balls surrounded her, before shooting forward from all sides.
In a flash of light, her third lightsaber was out and all of her blades were moving independently through the air, without even touching her body. The blades slashed at the energy balls, deflecting them away as they moved to crush her.
Without missing a beat, the lightsabers fanned out and surrounded Mid-Boss, who faced them with grim determination. Bringing his sword to bear, he began quickly moving to deflect the blades with his own, his sword's magic fending off their powerful cuts by mere inches as he struggled to face the three of them at once.
Raising his left hand with a flourish, he shot a burst of energy into the air. A huge spiraling magical circle appeared in the air as he continued to fend off the blades. Opening a gaping vortex in the sky, a huge meteor emerged.
Batting away the lightsabers with a circular arc, Mid-Boss leapt into the air, standing atop the meteor.
The meteor descended from the sky, moving towards Traya. She calmly raised her hand, launching a burst of lightning as all three of her lightsabers spun through the air, moving towards the meteor.
Traya's bolt of lightning caught Mid-Boss square in the chest, blasting him upward as the lightsabers sliced through the meteor, splitting it into three sections that fell to the side around Traya, smashing large portions of the bridge.
Mid-Boss unleashed a wide slash empowered by magical energy, knocking back the spinning lightsabers which moved away before arcing and turning on him again.
"I... uh... think I left my oven on! Goodbye for now! HAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Mid-Boss said as wings extended from his back and he flew off, faster than the lightsabers could follow.
"Mid-Boss has left the arena and is disqualified. Darth Traya is the winner," Light said.

The second battle is between Agent Smith and Ganondorf. It will take place in the Astral Plane. The fight will be posted either Friday or Saturday. Betting will be open until that time.

For the next one it's 10,000 on Agent Smith. I wonder how the Astral Plane thing will play out...
putme down for 7 on agent smith.
Why do people always assume an RPG character will win in a fight?
Though I suppose if I had any real faith in Darth Traya, I would have wagered my bank on his victory.
Oh, well.
250k on Ganondorfusupercalifragilistikexpialidoh shionowatsatsoundontlukdown.
I'm going to bet 2K on Ganondorf and If Tsukasa wants it then you can have 1k from me.
Tsukasa, I'd also be willing to give you some. I mean... you have to admit, I've got plenty to spare XD;
I think I'll wait a bit before voting.
Mmm lightsaber fights are delicious. *Sigh* I was wrong, though. Let's see... Smith took quite a beating at the end of the third movie before calling it quits. I'll be all rebel and put 5k on the Agent.
2k Agent Smith.
stupid vyers
10k on ganondorf.
Hell yeah, Darthg Traya, grannie from hell.
Sorry, but Mrs. Traya is a woman, and a fairly awesome one at that. :DQuote:

A myriad of colors swirled around the astral plane as two figures faced off.
Floating above the eternal aether was a man in ebony armor with skin almost as dark. His hair was bright orange, and he wore a cloak of dark red. In his hand was a broadsword with a long silver hilt and blade. His face was fixed in a smug grin of a man completely assured of his own power.
Standing against him was a man in a suit and dark glasses. His expression was cold and calculated, and he held no weapons.
Around him was a sea of black, which, upon further inspection, was a swarm of people that looked exactly like the first.
"The next battle is between Ganondorf and what appears to be a swarm of Agent Smiths," Light said from a small pod surveying the plane. "Begin."
The army of Agent Smiths turned as one and began to charge down Ganondorf.
With a loud laugh, Ganondorf drew forth his sword, which glinted in the swirling radiance of the plane. As the wave of Smiths crashed against him, he waded in, his blade glowing with dark energy as he cut them down. Black energy gathered around his hands as he unleashed several bursts of dark magic, obliterating the agents with brutal efficiency.
"Stop."
A voice rang out from the sea of agents, and as one they backed off, leaving only one.
"I can see that you're too powerful for all of me," the Smith said.
Ganondorf smiled, his mouth curving into a wide, toothy grin.
"However," the Smith said. "I still have a few tricks up my sleeve."
As he said this, he shot forward like a bullet, hurtling through the air directly at Ganondorf.
Ganondorf raised his sword just in time to block Smith's fist. The impact sent both of them hurtling backward, before Ganondorf was able to halt them with his magic.
Ganondorf pushed off with his sword, sending Smith backwards.
Moving faster than the eye could follow, Smith appeared behind Ganondorf and dealt him a vicious blow that sent him flying into the sea of Smiths.
Ganondorf recovered and continued his path, his blade flickering with dark energy. As he approached the swarm of Smiths, he increased speed, sweeping his blade in wide arcs and obliterating a large number of them where they stood.
Flying up above the crowd, he turned around and again intercepted a fierce punch from Smith with his blade, clutched tightly in his right hand. Screaming, he brought his left hand forward and unleashed a powerful burst of dark magic that sent Smith flying backwards.
Gripping his sword in both hands, Ganondorf surged forward, chasing after Smith. Smith dove down, looping in the air and flying around to Ganondorf’s back. Ganondorf whirled and raised his hand, unleashing a massive burst of dark magic. Smith’s body slammed into it and was blasted downward as the magic exploded around him. As he fell, Ganondorf dove after him, screaming loudly.
Agent Smith looked up just in time to catch a second burst of dark energy as Ganondorf unleashed a vicious punch, vaporizing Smith in an instant and causing the few remaining Smiths to shatter.

OOC: OK, announcement time. I've been toying with the idea of redoing the World of Eizon, using the money earned from the Grand Tournament as a spring board. I'll let players use the (in many cases extremely large) amount of money they're earning here in order to create their own countries or merge with other players to create nations with cities and such. The world-building would be interactive, players could create various creatures and such and even earn money for "discovering" them.
Also integrated into the game would be a roleplay system based around the Final Fantasy worlds (this is, after all, a Final Fantasy site). Players would get to build characters and even have them become stronger and use them for various roleplay purposes such as leading armies or going on adventures within the world. Players would, of course, not be required to take part in the aspects of the game they aren't interested, there will be plenty to do and your level of involvement is completely up to you.
Grand Tournaments would still be happening and would still be ways to earn money, I'd likely phase out the original character tournaments for awhile (but eventually have such tournaments occur between people's characters on occasion) and they'd be a large source of money. I'd also have several factors to determine one's population, happiness, etc., so that the element of country micromanaging is available to those who want it (especially as money is spent constructing cities and building resources). The game is designed to be ever-evolving, so more structures and creatures and players can keep entering the game, although new countries would happen less often (though the entire map wouldn't be initially revealed, as there are unexplored regions).
Anyone at all interested in taking part in this should say so in their betting post. I'll be looking for co-coordinators as well as players, and all your funds are transferable. If I get a good amount of interest here, I'll take it to general chat, and if enough people express interest I will proceed with the construction of the world.
Anyway, enough rambling, on to the violence!
Two figures faced off in a cobblestone square, in the middle of which was a fountain depicting a warrior mounted on a bird-like creature and holding a lance. Around the fountain were artfully arranged plants, and a sea of banners led up to an impressive castle in the distance.
Lounging about the square were several characters in various garb. Several bore carts and speech bubbles above their head broadcasting wares or making lewd comments. Several had odd "pictures" made of various symbols. Other figures were speaking through large chat bubbles appearing above their head, and most of the time the words were stunted or otherwise incorrectly spelled. The most common topic of conversation seemed to be the words "heal plz."
One was an older man with long gray hair and an impressive moustache. He wore a long black trenchcoat, a gray vest and gray pants. Under his vest was a white dress shirt and red tie, and he wore a bandolier of bullets. In both hands, he held a revolver, which he rapidly twirled in his hands.
On the other side of the fountain stood a figure in azure armor. His right arm was a mass of unholy flesh that ended in a huge claw, and his left hand held a mostly organic sword with a huge yellow eye in the center of the blade. A shock of long red hair trailed from his helmet.
"The next battle is between Revolver Ocelot and Nightmare," Light said from the top of the castle, wearing rich garments befitting a noble. "Begin."
Hefting his huge blade, Nightmare began advancing on Ocelot, who was still twirling his guns. As he advanced, Ocelot fired two shots, both of which hit Nightmare's hand, causing him to loosen his grip on his sword, which almost fell from his hand and drove him off balance.
Twirling his revolvers, Ocelot fired two shots, one into either of Nightmare's glowing red eyes as he backed away at a leisurely pace.
Nightmare staggered back, hissing as energy began gathering around his body. Righting himself, he was immediately knocked to the ground as two more bullets buried themselves in his burning eye socket.
Two more shots were fired, sinking into Nightmare’s clawed hand and tearing open the flesh. Before Nightmare could even move, two more bullets entered the chinks in the armor of his left hand, causing his hand to open in pain and drop his sword on the ground with a clatter. Two further bullets slammed into the blade, sending it spinning away from Nightmare.
Nightmare slowly and painfully began to rise as Ocelot quickly removed the revolving chamber from his guns and reloaded them with casual efficiency.
Spinning his guns, Ocelot shot Nightmare in the eyes again, sending him spinning backwards and falling to the ground. Ocelot then began toying with Nightmare as he began to rise, ricocheting bullets off various objects and into the chinks in Nightmare’s armor. Each time a bullet struck him, Nightmare gave a howl of pain, which grew progressively weaker with each shot until finally he lay still.
Ocelot reloaded his revolvers and shot Nightmare a few more times for good measure before walking off.
“Revolver Ocelot is the winner,” Light proclaimed.

The next battle is between Venom and Axel. It will take place in the Zaraki district of Rukongai. The fight will be posted either Monday or Tuesday. Betting will be open until that time.
30k on axel
Dang, I underestimated Ocelot's insane aim.
1,500,000
Let's do 250,000 on Axel, since Venom's not a fan of fire.
1k on Venom.
Man, guns are awesome.
3,000,000 on Axel.
1,040,000 on Axel o.o
900,000 on axel.
5k on Axel.
I'll jump in here and put 5k on Axel.
Banking on Axel
If Axel didn't use fire, this fight would be far fairer. However, I can't see Venom winning against something it despises so much. I'll wager 500,000 on Axel. I'll also give the World of Eizon idea a try, too.
I think that fight with Ocelot and Venom was kinda cheap and since when has Ocelot had gray long hair? Nightmare defeated an army on his own so I would think he would be able to defeat a single gunman.
Since I have no money now I can't participate anymore?
750,000 on Axel
I think the world of Eizon thing would be cool, and I'd be willing to help. 1 question though - would there be military conflicts between nations allowed?
10,000 on Axel.
The Eizon thing sounds neat.
I'll give 15k on Axel. Interesting Reads thusfar.
400k Axel
I have no money or any right to post my opinion but that Eizon idea sounds sweet.
Sweet gravysauce, I have not guessed one of these correctly since before history. I'm going to say a safe 1k on Axel so I don't get poorer and become a gutterwhore.
3k on axel
OOC: A bit more detailed outline of the Eizon game here. Check it out and throw in a post of support if you're interested, I want to see the kind of support I have to work with while I start crafting the actual rules.
Two figures faced off in a dilapidated village with houses that resembled peasant homes in feudal Japan. The area was forested, and there were bloodstains set deeply within the earth, stains that would never be washed away.
On one side was a vicious looking creature with black skin and a huge jaw lined with razor-sharp teeth. From his mouth protruded a long red tongue that trailed drool as it lashed about, and on his chest was a pattern like that of a spider.
The other was a man in black robes with a mane of spikey red hair. Two teardrop-shaped marks were under his eyes, and he held no visible weapon.
"The next battle is between Venom and Axel," Light said as he idly wrote in a black notebook. Every few seconds, a gasping scream could be heard, an on occasion a corpse would fall out of a tree or off a rooftop near where Venom and Axel were about to do battle.
"Begin."
Venom leapt into the air and extended his right arm. A strand of thick webbing leapt from it and shot forward like a bullet, slamming into Axel's robe and knocking him backwards.
"Ouch! That hurt!" Axel said as Venom growled and began reeling him in with its massively muscular arms.
"But that's not going to work," Axel said as he grasped the webbing. His hand glowed briefly and a flame ignited around the web as it began swiftly moving towards Venom, who hissed and immediately dropped the strand, leaping away.
"Don't like that eh?" Axel said. "Then you'll have a lot of fun with THIS!"
Axel extended his arms and waves of flame appeared, coalescing into two spiked red-and-white chakram. Drawing his arms back, he hurled one, and then the other, which arced through the air and hurled themselves at Venom.
As they flew through the air, both chakram ignited, trailing huge waves of flames. Venom leapt away from the fire, hissing with rage and fear as he shot webs into the trees to escape.
Axel smirked as the chakram returned to him. Once again he threw them to either side of Venom. Both chakram ignited into massive pillars of flame. Venom frantically increased his speed and attempted to veer away, but the chakram followed him, quickly gaining on him until finally both pillars overtook him and incinerated him completely. The screams of the symbiote echoed throughout the forest, before they were quickly silenced as the chakrams ceased their movement, fixing the flames on Venom's location.
"Axel is the winner," Light said, not even looking up from his writings.
