There seems to be a bug in that Dark Baloki, and both carnations of The Jackal (ljljl69-whatever) won't save in the Enemies defeated window.

Huh, I noticed when I saved that the last item in my inventory (a crossblades) was moved to the front of the list (where there was an empty slot). I kinda want to do some studies on saves affecting number of items, but maybe when I don't have some precious equipment I don't want to lose xD

Wait, what's the benefit of reincarnating a character? I just reincarnated my character so I could get the level 2 spells, and all my enemy/items/spells found information was lost. :(
Does that mean I have to do it ALL over again to be able to talk to spuuky?
EDIT: Nevermind, I did it again and it worked for some reason. A few enemies were lost (such as Dark Baloki), but the rest carried over.
EDIT2: Though a bunch of the items and all but two of the spells did not carry over. =o
I got my character really leveled up in the past hour, like strength was 202 and magic was at least 190, agility 195, and life 130 something. I had the Heroic Chalace, the necklace for getting to 30% kill rate...The Murasame...I saved and clicked the save a lot, because I had read that some people's things weren't saving. I trusted it after 20 some saves in a row, and logged out...Back in...And OH HEY nothing's above 100!...Smurf.

And I can't exchange the Rye. Might have been brought up but I don't feel like readin the whole thread :}
Edit: Wait, Aka. When you log in and see your char its just base stats. Those massive stats are probably from equipment boosts. Whenever you get back actually start up the character and see if your stats are back o.o

Hit a weird glitch where I left the Wind Temple and the area thought it still was the Wind Temple based on the encounters I was getting. Wasn't able to leave the zone either, had to save and exit.

Some items won't register in your "Item's Found" if you buy them, so that wasted a couple hundred gold trying to fill in some empty slots.
Apparently, when you deleted your old character, it didn't delete your old quest info and you used the same character name again and they got tied together. I'll see if I can reset any of it.Quote:

I'm glad people are enjoying it despite the maddening glitches that are popping up. The worst part is I never ran into any of this when I did my testing, but then again, that's why they call it "black box" testing, as you'll never predict how a user might interact with the program.

My stats are almost in the thousands and I've never seen a "crossblades" :[ more rare than doc france yet i need 3 of them lol and man have I done some serious grinding. You'd think I'd have come across ONE haha

You can get other items by gambling, but it's the only place where you can get the Ornamental Items. There are no extra items in hard mode.

A question for the experienced players... what are the options for regaining Life? I'm currently galavanting around with Life 1 (out of a maximum of 5 or so) and it's not a lot of fun. I found a guy in some town who can heal me, but only in exchange for cash - which I don't have enough of.
There aren't. You just simply have to train up enough so that when you win battles, you'll automatically gain life, assuming that you don't get hit for massive amounts of damage. There is no maximum life, only a current life. If you started with 5, and now you're down to one, that'd be where you are.Quote:

Finished the game, and it's damned addictive. I'm currently trying to find Crossblades to give to BoB, and I need one more War Angel to get the final item special item.
Can't figure out what Ryes are for, though...
Where do you fine crossblades again. I thought they were in the cave you unlock after killing cid, but I guess I'm wrong. I spent maybe 200 turns there as a pirate as my second trade and nothing.

I got to Demigod and saved it 5 times then exited just logged in to reincarnate my character and it put me back as a merchant and iv lost over 1000 agility and 1000 life...
I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know why the save system is buggy, but it is acting up. When I clean up the game for the "real" 5.0 release, I'm planning on rewriting the save functionality to try and make it more robust.
Also, I'm guessing you figured out how to become a Demigod.
My gooey toast and tasty pies keep on evaporating.
Also, is Del supposed to show up in the enemies beaten?
Are the Graveyard and Church the best shops in the game?
