I'm currently trying for ages trying to get Pikachu in Veridian Forest. I've gotten the other 5% chances like caterpie and metapod so many times it's not even funny...
Easy one. Get HM 01 and then loose a battle. You'll be in the pokémon centre and the ship hasn't left yet because there was no scene of it leaving. Or you get a pokémon with HM 01 cut via trade option (and I don't) so you don't need the ship. So you've lost a battle to see the legendary truck later.Quote:

My accomplishment is that they're all pretty evenly leveled in the high teens, instead of me having some super Wartortle and weakling other pokemon. So far, I've not used Wartortle that much, I've been trying to play with status effects more. Between Pikachu's THUNDER WAVE and Pidgey's SAND-ATTACK, most of my battles have been cake.

Turns out you can catch a lvl 0 ditto with missingno (pretty badass). Also, teach Fly to your missingno then evolve it. Kangaskan's with fly are quite hard to come about xD
