im probalby missing something.. why was it there? and with what purpose?
I think Beth probably has Judith, although since she didn't seem to make it to the bus or find the other children, she may be on her own with Judith. Unless Tyreese and the girls, or Maggie/Bob/Sasha came across her. I imagine at least two of those three groups will have found each other while Rick and Carl will probably be facing some alone time, and the bus group might be isolated as well. It's gonna be interesting to finally have the characters on the move again - it's something I've wanted for some time, and I hope they can find something new to work towards except plain survival.
I'm sad about the way Hershel went - that was pretty brutal. I got it spoiled for me so it was pretty agonising to watch knowing it was coming. Oh well.
I was surprised they kept Judith alive as long as they have. They may let her live, but whoever has her is going to have a hard time with a crying baby on their hands. This may have been done on purpose to avoid the extra troubles a crying baby would bring too.
I assumed Judith was still alive because with TV shows, no body = no death. And thought it was really weird how Rick and Carl both fell apart and started grieving right away after seeing the baby car seat. I was like, "wtf? Why don't you look around a bit and see if someone has her?"
But then I realized that even for a show like this, you probably can't show a baby being killed. So they did it off screen. This is the only time I would believe a character were dead without seeing a body, because I don't think they would be allowed to show a body. And honestly, it makes more sense for the show to kill off Judith then to try and keep integrating her into the story, especially as she gets bigger.
I considered that as well, but in the end I think that even if they killed her off screen, there would be confirmation, like maybe Carl or Beth saw it happen and could say it outright (or, y'know, with a pained look). I have a hard time believing the showmakers would be satisfied with just "gone and nobody saw".
I watched the episode a second time. These are the split up groups as far as I can recall:
-Rick, Carl
-Tyreese, the young girls
-Bob, Maggie, Sasha
-Daryl, Beth
-Glenn, whoever's on the bus
-Carol
-Whoever's left from the governor group
I can't remember the rest. Did Michonne leave alone? Maybe she has the baby?
Post some of your favorite cast pics. Funny or otherwise. I'm not yet ready to let this thread go even though we've got a 2 month wait!

IS THAT BETH LOOK AT HOW ADORABLE SHE IT
talking about Michonne, when will we get more insight about her baby isseu?
remember when she started crying when beth handed Judith to her?
I neeeda rewatch it I guess, because I thought Michonne was near Rick at the end//somewhere in there. I suppose she could have taken Judith, and it will lead to some conclusion over her and the baby thing that was started earlier in the season. Maybe Judith will luck out and survive after all, but I doubt it.
Who started this mid-season finale bulltrout and why is it okay? :mad2:
I don't remember ever seeing mid-season finales before....I usually wait until the season or entire series is over and binge watch for the first time on DVD or streaming or something, so this is kinda new to me. Whatever works for them I suppose.
Shows have been taking winter breaks long before that. It's only recently that they called that final episode of the year the 'midseason finale'.
I always figured it was a handy way to not have to wait 8 or so months in between seasons. Just take a 2 month break in the middle so when the season ends there's less time until the new season arrives.
It's bulltrout is what it is. Just gimmie the whole season!
I'd rather get the whole season at once than broken up into pieces. I can take suspense or whatever in between seasons, in between episodes is just bulltrout.
From what I checked and from what I remember, most shows that I've seen take breaks from about mid to late December and come back sometime in January. I'd be more accepting of that kind of break.
Or they could just pick one season of the year to run the entire thing...Fall, Spring? Or run 1 or 2 episodes a month, but keep things running all year long at that kinda pace. If it got 24 episodes a season like seasons used to get then having a new episode every other week would be perfect for year round entertainment.
these are not actual spoilers.. but pictures/jokes

I bet this has been posted a few times before, but oh well. Still funny!
that would have been much funnyer with alot more Stuff and Thangs ..

That was stupid. I want those 47 seconds of my life back.
Only if you put it into making a better video. Not many good TWD parodies, but you are welcome to be the one to start making them.
Any/all Walkng Dead cast photos make me happy. Posed, candids, on-set, or otherwise. (SPOILER)

RIP Hershey Kiss
I still hope we'll see Carol again. I have hope that she isn't gone for forever.
I agree. Since the big group is now a bunch of smaller separated groups, maybe she'll be one of the separated people that's focused on :)
I doubt she will be gone forever.
I believe Melissa Mcbride still got introduced in the introduction in the latest episode, even though she wasnt in it xD
I 100% believe that this is not the last we have seen of her
But my guess is that we wont see her any time soon, atleast not in this season
My best guess is that she'll crop up either with Rick and Carl while Rick is recovering so he has to rely on her. Or with Tyreese and the girls so there will be TENSION.
I'm really growing fond of Carl.

Nope, can't do it. Can't leave that up. I knew I should've added a disclaimer.

Yep, shouldn't have done it. Didn't leave it up. You should've added a disclaimer. No clue why I just wrote that.

BFF is like pfft. But she is always, always, ALWAYS insanely well-stocked with scented handsoap, sanitizers etc from Bath and Body Works cause homegirl loves a coupin.
Of course we apply the apocalypse principle and theorize how she would fit in to a zombie apocalypse.

so close to the start of a new episode and this thread is dead! im dissapointed
Attachment 51866
What are we supposed to talk about before there's a new episode? Should we all start looking for Carl?
Where is Carl? Have you all seen Carl?
He's not in the house.
That's because THERE IS NO MORE HOUSE.
I threatened the show when they took Hershel and ate Judith that I might never watch it again.
We'll see if I stand good on that threat.
That episode was so freaking boring where's Judith she's not dead ahhh.
Honestly I didn't want a character specific episode coming back but it turned out well. Nice Michonne and Carl development yesterday. I just like the episodes where you get to see everyone but it was approached well :)
Im ok with this episode ^^
edit:
Attachment 51943
I dunno, I'm starting to find the show repetitive.
Any episode without Daryl Dixon makes me mad. I am mad.
Omg that was a great episode. We learned Michonne totally had a baby which is why she is a little nuts with regards to babies. We found out that Carl still loves his dad. We found out that 112 oz of pudding makes up for a lost shoe.
I was surprised to see Glenn was still at the prison. I'm glad he found Tara.
Love that sign that says "Hitchhikers may be escaping inmates" haha.
So the groups as they stand now consist of:
Rick, Carl, Michonne
Glenn, Tara
Daryl, Beth
Maggie, Bob, Sasha
Tyreese, Carol, Judith, the sisters
Had a bit of a scare when Maggie was searching the bus for Glenn. I think we're lead to believe before the commercial break that he was a walker because she killed a guy we couldn't see the face of and got really emotional about it. I think it was just the realization that he wasn't on the bus and that got to her.
It's pretty clear they'll all find their way to this supposed safe haven. Looks like these new people are going to take Glenn & Tara there first. Maybe Tyreese & the gang will arrive second as they were told to follow the train tracks.
I really enjoyed this episode. It'll be interesting to see how Carol will be spending time with Tyreese while trying to hide what she did. At least, what we think she did.
edit: There's something going on with Lizzie. See the way she practically suffocated Judith to keep her quiet? I bet she killed Karen and fed rats to the walkers. That's my big prediction coming into the second half of season 4.
i freaking told you that those 2 little brats (and Tyreese) had the baby!
i found this episode very intersting, though i dont trust those army guys who now seem to have taken Glen and Tara.
lizzie is a smurfed up kids! i dont trust her a bit! i dont believe she killed karen and the other one, but i do believe she had fed the rats to the walkers.
she did name the Walkers and treat them as pets!
Turns out everyone was right about it being the crazy little girl feeding the walkers, but I had no idea she was so crazy she'd try to kill the baby. Three definites: It's definitely her, she's definitely not living past this season with her serial killing ass, the writers really love chocolate pudding.
There are so many comic book type spoilers that could happen now so I'll just keep shut as I don't know how closely they'll parallel yet.
The acting in this episode was also the best ever. Home girl Maggie deserves an Emmy. I was scared as trout till I saw a subtle smile as she was crying.
JUUUUUUUDDDIIIIIIIIITTHHHH! I may have squeezed Bailey when I saw Judith. Motherhood has ruined me.
I just want everyone back together. :( I'm glad Carol is back at least!
Apparently being away makes Carol get slightly more attractive. I detected hot sweaty cleavage.
well, she has to impress the boys, right? cleavage is very convincing to the man

a whole week without anyone posting :(
did everyone stop watching or something?
I'm still watching! And waiting. We're in some fun expository episodes now with lots of thinking and a little action. Although Rick in the house with the marauders was SCARY AS HELL
It wasn't scary for me because I assumed he was hallucinating the whole thing.
I am afraid. I am so afraid of the upcoming episode because Emily Kinney (Beth) and Norman Reedus (Daryl) are BOTH going to be on Talking Dead after Sunday's show.
And we all know that's usually the kiss of death. One of them isn't going to make it. And Norman Reedus will be livetweeting during the show itself.
:(:(:(:(:(
I'm also feeling the dread, foa.
It's interesting that throughout this second half Beth has been keeping a diary of some sort. At least, we've been hearing a sort of verbal diary. I wonder what that's leading up to.
Glenn is going to die and the only reason I think that's is because he's starting to annoy me.
Characters that started to annoy me around the time of their death:
Andrea
Hershel
T Dawg
The Governor
They already killed off one beloved character so I wouldn't be shocked if it was Daryl that bites the dust but that certainly would mean some people boycotting this trout train of a show.
I never thought they'd kill Glenn, but I feel like they're setting him up for us to be okay with his dead. I think they'd get too much trout if they kill Daryl though.
Kirkman has said a few times (and I'm paraphrasing) that people stridently and vociferously against Daryl's death just makes Kirkman want to kill him more. I am sure AMC feels differently, thought.
Reaching out to the people who read the comics like me. Don't read unless you don't mind spoilers or potential spoilers that could make their way into the show, including character deaths.
comic spoilers up to issue 60-somethingAlright so the young sisters aren't in the comics, but given how nuts they're making Lizzie out to be my big assumption is they're going for the Ben & Billy storyline. One of those boys started out on killing a stray cat and ended up killing his brother. Same with Lizzie, I bet she started out on rats and will eventually kill her younger sister.
I'm really interested to see where they take Carol and Tyreese. They should be dead at this point. Just as Shane shouldn't have been in season 2, these two are acting on borrowed time. I wonder how that will pan out. Then again, they took out Andrea which definitely didn't happen in the comics. I wouldn't mind seeing Carol and Tyreese making it into future seasons.
Response to LWL, I haven't read the comics but I clicked anyway like a dummyI BET THEY HAVE LIZZIE KILL JUDITH AND I WILL LOSE MY trout.
So. Daryl and Beth are alive but I still say it doesn't look good for them. I'm scared scared scared. At this point I'm not ok with anyone else dying, and I know that is wishful thinking to the maximum.
Really looking forward to next week's episode, though. I expect it will be scary as hell with walkers in the fog.
Well, I suppose I should ask. Do any of you read the comics? Or are these spoilers just for prying eyes :p
comic spoilers from issue 100, don't read this unless you don't mind knowing how someone might die. seriously foa, gtfo.I know everyone thinks Glenn is going to die, but I don't think that's going to happen for a while. It could happen, I mean they killed off Andrea who is still very much alive in the comics. I just don't know if the show could top Glenns comic book death. I'm not looking forward to seeing Steven Yeun get a barb wire wrapped baseball bat to the face several times, but it would definitely be an effective scene.
so.. what about this episode? huh!? ^^
i liked it
though i think it was stupid they burned the house in the middle of the night :P
i would rested and burned it in the morning xD

There's a kickstarter for the newest Walking Dead board game featuring the prison.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...son-board-game
With as little as a 5 dollar donation your name will be put in the rule book as a supporter as well as on their website. If you're looking to leave a mark on TWD history, it's quite a good deal. Prizes range from getting to play with the game's creators at San Diego comic con to having a custom character card made for you and more.
The page is at least worth taking a look at if you're a fan of TWD, board games, or both.
Thanks for joining the conversation! Hope you like it here.
Tagging spoilers is very easy. All you have to do is type [*SPOILER] [/SPOILER]with a message in the middle. (Take the asterisk out of the first tag)

(SPOILER)See?
Thanks for the welcome and tip.
Episode 412 made me very angry. There were many head-shaking moments. I just wonder where the hell things are going to be by the end of the final four episodes. At this rate, there won't be trout happening. Ugh. I will still watch and give my entire being for it, so...
Anyway, there is plenty to look forward to in the comics!
(SPOILER) Is Lucille gonna give some infected kisses? Will Dwight and Carson save our beloved survivors from the preemptive strike? The cover looks ominous, but then again Kirkman is always on the paTROLL.
I am competely unsettled by tonight's episode. Where is Beth. Daryl wat r u doin. ;_;
I believe Daryl is not getting himself shot and possibly giving up since Beth disappeared.
Was Daryl developing feelings for Beth? For the longest time I've been thinking it's just mutual respect, but after that look he gave her tonight...I don't know.
I've really liked this season so far, and the slow pacing post-prison has been good for character development. My big fear is that the last episode this season is going to consist of a bunch of "Look how awesome season 5 is going to be" scenes.
I liked this episode. Loving Daryl x Beth. Except when they got separated :(
I think the new group will be a test for Daryl and whether he is a good person. He will only stick with the group until he finds Beth, I think.
Terminus next episode, please.
Or finds anyone else he knows probably. Who knows which could come first. Though I imagine getting away from them will be tricky.
i centrainly dont believe Daryl will abandon Beth, but this group he encountered was pretty 'badass' so he problably doesnt have much of a choice then to go along with them.. im just very curious about his next move!
will they all be reunited in Terminus?
i dont know, one 1 hand i just dont believe there will be a new 'prison' (or woodburry).
perhaps Terminus is not what it seems to be. but i guess we will see that at the very end of season 4 :l
Not necessarily a spoiler, but it's what I think may be going on.
(SPOILER)I have a feeling the car that took Beth is going to be linked to that group , somehow. That house was clearly a trap. It was spotless. It was fully stocked with food. It was to lure people in, and whoever it lured in would stay because it felt safe, until they were driven out...
your spoiler tag is unecesarily, since it is your prediction and not a spoiler from a comic :3
the title of this thread mentiones that there are spoilers for the aired episodes ^^
WHY CAN'T ANYONE EVER BE HAPPY.
Happiness is boring.
what is there to be happy about in a world full of walking stinking corpses?
THERE SHOULD BE MORE SNUGGLING.
Good episode. Much intense. Two annoying characters died; one a psychopath/serial killer in training and the other a really terrible child actress. Carol is an hero for killing that crazy little girl. Maybe she was wrong for killing the other two people, but I'm glad Tyrese forgave her. During the apocalypse things change. There is no asylum or hospital for people so you have to make tough decisions and I think that's why Tyrese forgave her because he realizes that after the death of Lizzy.
We all knew it was Lizzy feeding the rats to zombies so that's not a surprise. What was a surprise is her killing her sister the way she did. I really thought she would just let the walkers take her when they were at the fence, but the way in which it happened what was just like...wtf. Crazy episode...
EDIT: Even though their characters were annoying, I am still sad they're gone. It always bothers me when kids die on this show. If Judith dies this season I will just be done.
In regards to one of my previous comic book crossing over to tv spoilers: I called it :smug:
Judith must have been well hidden when Carol and Tyreese were walking away at the end of this episode because I couldn't spot her for the life of me.
It looks like pretty much everyone is going to be in the next episode, I look forward to that.
I'm really satisfied with this episode. All the issues relating to these characters were finally settled and there's no more secrets. Now they can just look forward.
I'm glad I read the spoiler that Lizzie was a little murderer because I would not have wanted to be surprised by that. Brutal. I'm glad Tyrese forgave Carol; I love them both!
whahahahahah now that you mention it...
im pretty sure she was the ghost-like figure on the back of tyrees
Attachment 52448
this episode was NUTS!
Carol is such a badass, having to do all the tough things.
So, with two episodes left, are we just going to get cliffhanger'd at the end of the season? I can only imagine what can and/or will be fit into the little remaining time we have.
ofcourse there will be a cliffhanger.. there is always a cliffganger!
when they were at the prison lizzy and a group were 'playing' with the zombie they named at the fence
edit:
Attachment 52467
This is a little late but
I find it completely ironic that Lizzie wants walkers to be her best friend yet has no qualm about dissecting a rat and nailing it to a board.
Guess it's not about how special life is. lol.
aww damn! so daryl is with the guys that 'attacked' Rick at te house :o but no word about Beth
and im 100% sure hat Terminus is a lie! that lady is too friendly! i dont trust her >:O
there has to be something behind it.
i love how Carl and Michonne get along like that ^^ i love how michonne has opened herself
I wonder if we'll get to see Beth again this season or if they'll leave that as a cliffhanger :(
That's a baaad crowd, Daryl. Time to get out of dodge.
There isn't enough time in one episode to find out all I want to know this season!
I think Terminus is bad news. Doesn't feel right.
Terminus? My bet?
(SPOILER)cannibal/s
(SPOILER)I was thinking that as well. When they got there at the end and the woman was cooking what appeared to be meat on the grill. I bet it was human meat.
Hi Shlup. I know you never miss a chance to open these.
What you guys said was my first thought as well, even though I'm not up to date on the comics. Just got that vibe, doesn't it.
(SPOILER)It's something that has happened in the comics and games which hasn't appeared yet in the TV show. Makes me worry for Beth though. I liked her lately.
NO. TERMINUS IS REAL AND EVERYONE WILL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER AND START REBUILDING AMERICA STARTING NOW.
Poor Shlup. She has no self control.
(SPOILER)But seriously. There was an awful lot of space and not a lot of people there. They ate the others.
(SPOILER)I really hope they have a "tainted meat" scene like they did with Dale
Lol, i see we are all on the same line here xD
my thoughts were the same about that woman and her meat
This is a really good photo. I like Carol's knife. I don't remember how she got one with knuckles on it, must have been through a scavenge somewhere.
Attachment 52539
smurf YEAH IT'S ABOUT TIME SOMEONE USED THEIR TEETH. I would've been biting people to death a long, long time ago. Hit me in the face? Bite to the neck. Try to stab me? Bite to the neck. Hell, when Rick stabbed Shane he should've bitten him for good measure.
I also love how Rick has made peace with his shoulder devil and shoulder angel. He knows when he should be listening to which of them - and Terminus is smuuuuurfed. So smurfed. All of those people, I feel badly for them. Because they're smurfed.
I THEORIZE THAT ONE OF THEM WILL MAKE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE AND DIE. And then the group will let them turn and unleash them on the people of Terminus. And I WILL BE QUITE PLEASED BECAUSE smurf YOU, TERMINUS smurfERS. Those people are my people now.
I have an unhealthy, visceral reaction to this show.
ppphheeeww safe for another season! I can breathe.
I liked seeing Patrick in the flashback where he's playing with the legos. I felt like it brought the show full circle back to the first episode of the season with the guy that started the outbreak. It also shows how bad things are now without the long lasting sanctuary that was the prison.
Goodbye to Joe's group. And not a moment too soon. :colbert:
That was the scene that had me most on the edge of my seat.
Let me ask this, though. What was the point of being frisked at Terminus? They were clearly armed, and they were allowed to pick their weapons right back up after it was done.
I'm not sure how they're going to get out of their situation. Maybe they'll make a run for it if someone opens the door to feed them. But there are snipers on the roof....
I'm sure that bag of weapons Rick buried outside the fence will come in to play. Let's not forget that Carol and Tyreese are still out there. I wonder how they'll come into this?
Lone wolf Leonhart, im sure they got the weapons back so they would feel 'safe', and they just felt for secret weapons so they knew what the group has
i freaking told you that Terminus was a lie!
and im sure that the old lady will try to use them as sacrefices in that weird ritual room with the candles!
what kind of sect is terminus?
i hate it how the fell for those directions the Terminus people were giving by shooting on the ground, but then again what choice did they have in that situation?
this was the last episode right? :o or is there 1 more to come this season?
Attachment 52614
Good episode with a groaner of an ending. Rick's last lines were almost as cliche and tired as "They messed with the bull, now they get the horns"...
Oddly enough I saw that they sniper guy was firing to keep them from running certain directions and not actually trying to hit them. I'm surprised none of them saw this.
You mean them outright saying they saw this wasn't them seeing it? Not sure what they could really do though. If they decided to not go where they were trying to lead them while out in the open with snipers on rooftops I imagine they'd have just been killed and that would be that.
I guess I got frustrated seeing very quickly what was happening and thinking, "Okay, let's stop and regroup where we have some cover and figure out how to take out the guy on the roof so we don't get herded around." Granted, there was more than one person on the rooftops but it seems like lazy writing on the show's part.
I enjoyed the last episode. I assume the terminus cannibals must be eating parts of people whilst still keeping them alive, given what happens once they die?
Tyreese & Carol to save the day! But not before it's too late & somebody gets killed/eaten. I think it will be Glenn, especially after the emotional reunion with Maggie. I can't see why else Rick would be so confident when they're all trapped inside a cart. Why else would he leave his bag of guns outside Terminus "just incase", as clearly they'd be no good to him out there if things went belly up once inside! I have a feeling they bumped into them, and came up with a plan for them to stay out and to see what happened. After Woodbury, would they all really be stupid enough to enter together?
Off topic, but I may have missed something in last night's episode.... Joe implies his group will rape Michonne and Carl before the kill Rick... but was Carl actually raped by that guy? I couldn't tell what was happening g during the scene but the implication and his reaction after it was over seems like possibly.
No, thankfully he wasn't. I believe by the belt buckle sounds he was ready to get his pants off, though.
Also, I keep trying to make the sentence "terminus? more like terminated in the new season amirite" sound funny but I can't get it to click. Maybe it's the wording.
That was badass. Rick ripping the guys throat out and stabbing the other guy was easily my favorite scene from the whole series so far.
Beth is totally steak.
Except maybe not because why would they grab her? I would think their method of conning people in to coming to them is what they tend to do. There are still several antagonists that haven't been introduced from the comics so my guess is one of those factions.
Yes please!
well.. atleast we have game of thrones now for a view weeks..
and after that comes that Penny Dreadfull that you suggested (in may was it?) so that should keep you occupied a view more weeks
after that, i dont know
Oh yeah, I've got it all planned out.
Now - Game of Thrones
May - Penny Dreadful
June - True Blood
Summer at some point - Doctor Who
October - The Walking Dead
Given that each of these last between 1 to 2 months, I think i'm set for the rest of the year. Not to mention any other interesting shows I might pick up along the way.
With that being said, I posted my previous picture because I'll miss The Walking Dead in its absence. Also, Bob's face :monster:
This show goes at a snail's pace. Episode 1 of next season better be Carol & Tyrese bustin down Terminus with guns blazing but I'm sure there will be 5-6 filler episodes before we get to that.
The last episode didn't really seem like a finale. It had most of the elements that the show typically displays in a finale (group gets split up, group finds each other, group finds a safe haven, introduction of a new bad guy, etc) but it just didn't feel like a finale for some reason.
i agree, i wasnt even sure in the first place if this was the final ot if there would be 1 more episode.
but after that episode i was pretty certain there had to be another one this season :o

There's going to be a special episode of Talking Dead on Sunday. We're building up to season 5!
Attachment 58009
"Waist of time." I love that. Love.
The season 5 trailer threw my expectations out of the water. Absolutely amazing.
Season finale: Group gets to DC, realize by "Washington" they meant Seattle.
That trailer looks brutal. Do they really have to use saggy zombies this season? I hate saggy zombies.
Attachment 58707
WA = Washington state, where Seattle is
DC = Washington DC, not a state, the capitol of the USA
GA = Georgia, where they started
They will have to walk through foa-land in the process. Since I hav e clearly survived this Apocalypse I will grant them safe passage.
ooh, ok, i get it :3
Finally catching up. I missed the second half of the last season but now netflix has it! I have like 4 episodes left before I'm ready for Sunday, we're trying to catch up!
Y'ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS
Return of the Daryl Dixon set is in motion. The Walking Dead returns this Sunday. 3 freakin days away. My body is ready.I've got two people I need to survive this season. The first is obvious to anyone who pays attention to me, the second is Tara. These are the two characters I need to see go all the way.

How are they going to explain how Carl aged a year while in that cell? Or maybe he'll get eaten.
Thanks to the pacing with mid-season finales, I don't think there'll be much of a difference.
But even if there is, I think it's just one of those things as a viewer where you just accept the shooting schedule will put slight bumps in continuity as a teenager grows between seasons.
Carl needs to go. His character is vapid and pudding eating, but after the events of what happened last season they're most likely going to milk his character for another two seasons. I have an idea of who will definitely being dying this season but I'm sworn secrecy. It will be a beloved character.
I'M NOT LOOKING AT OTHER POSTS. BUT OMG That little girl stabbed the other little girl and carol then shot her.
what.
Just look at the flowers kc.
Okay. I'm caught up.
I think they are cannibals
THAT WAS AMAZING!
Any criticisms about slow pacing can be thrown out the window this episode. Not only is Terminus in their rear view mirror, but everyone is reunited. On top of that, it didn't feel rushed at all. Absolutely perfect.
From what I understand, where Beth is and what she is doing will be addressed before the mid-season finale, but not within these first few episodes. Still looking forward to that.
Did anyone watch after the credits? ;)
In carol we trust!And Morgan!
A couple things I learned from Talking Dead and the Story Sync:
-Mary is Gareth's mother. His brother Alex died in the last episode of season 4. Rick's group is responsible for the deaths of Gareth's only two family members at Terminus.
-The first guy to get a slit throat in the pig trough was actually a character from season 4:

The weird tattoo guy that Glenn let out was the same guy from the end of the episode in the flashback who had Gareth and co. locked up in the train car:

And delivered. Though Tyrese was a pansy most of the episode.
Great opener, though I don't think we've seen the last of Terminus. It looks like we'll be seeing flashbacks of how they came to be like that. I hope I'm wrong because I don't give two smurfs about them any more. They got their deserved destruction and it's time to move on.
Cool to see Carol be a badass, though the amount of redemption she's getting is making me uneasy...
Well, her and rick will need to talk it out. And then last time Rick saw that one chick I can't remember her name, she was on the other side of the fence with the governor so I'm sure there will be drama there too.
I thought from the season preview we saw more Gareth with the group so they may have more Terminus to transition him back to the group? idk.
woah! thats for pointing that out. i didnt get the hint when carol picked up the watch. though the white haired guy did look farmiliar.. but didnt he die?
neither did i see the hint from the gu with the tatoed face.. pff im bad
and im pretty sure it wont be the last thing we see of Gareth :o
with every episode i love Carol more. she went from damsel in distress to hardcore chick
i cant recall Axel
Tyrese was always a pansy and a terrible shooter. Zombie apocalypse is no time to be a pacifist. The cannibal guy is right, if he keeps acting like that he's going to be dead.
In regards to Talking Dead, I don't see Carol becoming the new leader though they'll probably begin to question Rick's leadership capabilities once again. Everybody will love Carol again and then she'll die a brutal death. Such is life.
Nice episode. Sucked me in again. Feel myself getting tired of the show's overall pace, and then they suck me back in.
Was it just me or did some of the gore seem cheesed out? I mean, more than usual, like B-horror cheese. The dude crawling backwards when a zombie's at least 10 feet away was just moronic.
I do hope they don't drag out Terminus. It was much lamer than my initial hopes, so now I wish they'd just move on.
I have an idea who's going to die, too, and I'm not smurfing happy about it.
Carol + Daryl = emotions. Man I love how they've played those characters together. Whether they "get together" is irrelevant to me. They're the best couple on the show. Sorry Maggie & Glenn.
It's funny though because you know all the Carol+Daryl fangirls/boys were all shouting at the television when they saw them hug. At Comic Con last year, Reedus said he was aware of the fanfiction.

That was the only thing I wanted to happen in the whole world. That and Carol+Daryl (I'm neutral on "shipping" them but love them as a pair regardless), so this episode brought me many joys.
What redemption? She doesn't need no redemption. She's always been a badass.
P.S. I had a dream a few days ago that in this season the world was pretty much back to normal, except people carried weapons in case the occasional zombie interrupted their coffee dates.
So Daryl is going to kiss Rick? Hot
I hope the series finale is them drinking tea in a town that's overlooked by a giant statue of the mullet dude.
ive alsways seen Daryl and Carol relationship more as a mother-son thing
So, and Idk why I thought this but I did, I didn't think I could hate anyone more than I hated the Governor.
Nope. I hate Gareth way a lot more than I thought I could actually hate.
Also, not to be a mod whore, but could someone either rename this thread or split the season five stuff into a new thread? I would be obliged.
Gareth, you little trout.
BoBQ.
Father Gabriel, something is up with that dude. You can't go like 2 years and be that out of touch with the walkers.
why does season 5 need to be split up into a new thread?
i thought this episode was going to be apenuts! as in action apenuts.
omg Bob D: jezus bloody christ.
omg what will happen now!?
His leg looks like Korean BBQ.
Now you've gone and made me hungry.
I wonder if alcoholics taste better. Everything's good in a wine sauce.
:stare:
Lol Vivi, how suiting that your sig/avatar is a cannibal :3
can we contineu posting these?

So baby killer isn't dead? Good job, Tyreese.
I really like Gareth. Well, not the character, but the actor. I don't like Gareth's motives or actions, but for some reason I want him to have a lot more screen time.
I missed the Shaibana memes.
I'm not a huge fan of the crying Rick meme. The jokes are funny, but the crying scene was very emotional, and when I go back and watch it in the future I don't want to think about the jokes. It might ruin the moment.
Bob: How the hell has been alive this long bitten?
The evil cannibal: if he were going to die why didn't he die guns a blazing instead of like a pussy begging on his knees? Lame and anti-climatic. There was a good writing point there that could have been made with the rape thing tying in to Shane (not shane what's his name Carl but basically the same personality at this point) almost being raped.
This episode was lame.
Tyrese is an awesome gentle giant but at times tonight much of a gold person. I hope he doesn't die anytime anytime soon. Anyway Bob was one of the people I knew was going to die prior to season starting. Now for the second soon. ;)
Maggie: what an asshole. She hasn't yet asked where her sister is.
Yes she did! They talked about it during.the first five minutes of the first episode!
Also I am so pleased Gareth died a coward's death because he is a coward. He was smug and short sighted and so weak that he turned his own personal tragedies on the world at large. And he paid for it.
