I don't think this picture adequately portrays how massive the burgers I made for Tara and I last night were, but she can confirm that they were quite the struggle to eat. Lettuce, bacon, beef, swiss cheese, swiss brown mushrooms, swiss cheese, toasted bun; it was amazeballs.

I've seen some massive burgers in my time. They're usually made at restaurants. Good job on that.
If it wasn't for the fact I had a cheeseburger today I might be drooling right now.
I need to get better at plating & snapping pics of my foodz. I suck at it.
I have a big bag of shrimp in my freezer. Ima do bacon wrapped shrimp with jalepeno in it. And maybe chipotle chicken quesadillas with a mango pico de gallo. IDK.
I still have a smurf ton of Mexican rice in my fridge. And my bf made me chicken adobo yesterday, so there's still white rice in the maker.
I have too much food that needs to get eaten >.<
I had pancakes and coffee for breakfast, chicken parmigiana for lunch and salad Nicoise for dinner. Trying to eat healthy :)
I had a sandwich and a salad.
I only woke up two hours ago. ToriJ gets to sleep in.
i had yogurt and a burger..i don't eat much.. i tend to forget that i need to..
Ordered in room service. BF had a flat iron steak that came with a small salad and these big potato wedges with cheese & bacon on them and I had a bbq pulled pork sandwich that has an apple-blue cheese slaw. With fries, & a big pickle spear. Sooooo yummy!
A BLT sandwich and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps.
Had a grilled cheese sandwich and some chorizo for lunch today. Not recommended for anyone participating in that weight loss comp.

i made roast sister made mashed taters. it was yummy, plus popcorn, chips an string cheese
You know what is actually really nice? Baked family members. I know it sounds unusual, but until you try some baked cousin then don't be too quick to judge. I personally like a whole cousin cooked en papillote, just add some lemon, thyme and maybe some fresh chili if you're using a particularly bland cousin. Don't knock it till you try it!
Hmmm... interesting idea. A few years ago, did actually try a Baked Third Cousin Twice Removed Tart. It was unusual to say the least. Maybe first cousin would be the way to go for any future dalliances.
I would not recommend Fried Granny. It was smurfing awful.
Oh yeah, older family members need to be slow cooked, definitely. I had trouble finding a crock pot large enough to fit my grandpa in though.
Yeah, I won't make that mistake again, believe me.
If you're after something a bit sweeter though, you can't go wrong with a Traditional Mother-in-law Trifle. It has a lovely smooth texture and you don't get that bitter taste you can sometimes get with blood-relatives.
Eyes on Cannibalism
I'm quite happy with my toast. Had 4 rounds earlier.
I made stuffed chicken breasts with sauteed asparagus, mushroom, onion, & Sun dried tomatoes and wrapped in prosciutto! & I did zucchini & yellow squash spaghetti with a burst tomato sauce.
Was mega yummy!
I'm thinking of doing stuffed pianos with steak & veggies & something.
Or patty melt sandwiches with fries.
It's a toss up at this point.
Nutella toast, a cheeseburger, and some grilled nephew.

I made chicken fried rice! I sauteed up some ginger, garlic, and onion before adding in the rice & then stirred in low sodium soy sauce, a bit of hoisin, and some juice from an orange. And red pepper flakes. And of course the chicken, peas, and carrots. XD
Home cooked pot roast, diced carrots, cherry bits and a slice of red velvet cheesecake. :)
I made a Taramisu today!
Made the sponges from scratch, and the zambaglione too! This is a little stack I made with the leftover sponges and some cream - I can't wait to cut into the actual cake later and see how each layer looks. Fingers crossed it looks beautiful!:D I've made some little white chocolate shards to serve it with, and of course I'll be topping it with cocoa powder. So excited. I know this is one of Pheesh's favourite desserts so I hope I can do him proud with mine. I always thought this dessert would be easy to make... but I definitely underestimated the challenge... There's a lot of tricky components to this dish so I hope they all balance out. Overall I spent about 3 hours this morning on it! So it had better be good!

I made my amazing Mexican Shrimp Cocktail, homemade tostadas, Mexican rice, and spicy black beans! The rice needed more tomato sauce as it isn't really as red as it should be and there isn't avocado in the cocktail cuz the ones I got are nowhere close to being ripe :(

That's the hot chicken & my mommy's tater salad I made the other day. Soooooo stinking yummy.

And my bf's lunch! Southwestern pasta salad with corn, black beans, tomatoes, onion, sauteed red & yellow bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeno, queso fresco, and I did a vinaigrette with lime, olive oil, garlic, cumin, crushed coriander seed, salt, and pepper!
I've also got a pasta salad with Sun dried tomatoes, olives, goat cheese, and made a lemon/olive oil dressing with basil and garlic.
And I'm making fajitas. And greek chicken pita sammiches things

I have yet to eat anything today. I am about to eat some stuffed crust pizza though! I was just too busy at work to be able to eat! I did have 3 cups of coffee and some sweet tea though :D
I made juevos rancheros with some leftover rice and beans that I made for breakfast.
Lunch was some of this leftover pasta salad and a fajita taco with a corn tortilla.
Dinner I'm just snacking on hummus and veggies and fed my bf the rest of our leftovers.
Baked macaroni and cheese, roasted ham, Caesar salad and a slice of apple cinnamon pie. :) uber delly!
Tacos and French Toast.
I made ribs last night and omgomgomg they were soooo yummy.<3
Making bacon and caramelized onion grill cheese for breakfast. :D
Night Fury made us some epic porterhouse, mash, peas & corn with a red wine jus.

Hungry all over again.... Epic eats!
McDonalds Double Cheese Burger and large fries, fishsticks and carrots. Later I plan to make myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, heat up some peas, and then eat more carrots.
I'm a bunny rabbit.
Toquitos, bread sticks. Not much. I am hungry now, gotta go find something in the kitchen.
I was really naughty and had a McChicken for lunch.
I'm making a big pot of hearty chilli tonight - I'm adding in chickpeas as well as beans to bulk it up and make it more filling for the belly on what will probably be another cold, cold night!
McDonalds and fishsticks and I manage to stay in the 170s weight range regardless.
Cearel and Wendy's.
Breakfast was avocado on this toasted sourdough bread I have. I mashed the avocado with salt & pepper and a bit of lime.
Lunch I had chipotle hummus and broccoli and cheese.
And dinner was chili. From a can. With crackers.
Waffles with blueberry jelly for breakfast.
Pizza for lunch.
Spaghetti with chunks of chicken and melted mozzarella cheese in it for dinner.
I've just had a cup of tea so far this morning. Last night Pheesh made us a lovely prawn salad - but we were both still quite hungry later on in the night! It's definitely time to be having big hearty meals when the weather is this cold!

I've done a meal plan for this week for what I'll be cooking us both! Got quesadillas, a garlic linguine dish, and a dahl! I've never made a dahl before so I'm super excited as it's one of my favs! :) Yummy yummy in my tummy! :D
I had a hotdog for the first time in years. I'm still hungry, though...
Mother-smurfing toast
Donuts.
Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, meatloaf.
Chocolate cookie pie with creme.
Last night I made us some charcoal BBQ chicken with garlic green beans
Attachment 64181
and today for lunch I just had a simple garlic aglio olio pasta
Attachment 64182
Cap'n Crunch.
Donuts.
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese.
Made chicken tacos from a store bought rotisserie chicken.
I had green beans....fried chicken....not that anyone cares. :D
I made a potato and chorizo frittata the other night. It's something I cook a lot, super yummy and easy to make.
Attachment 64319
^ I guess you use Spanish chorizo huh? That comes in the sliceable links?
That's literally -all- anyone ever has here in NYC. I cannot ever find Mexican chorizo ever and it drives me insane 'cuz one of my fav breakfasts is chorizo and scrambled egg tacos. :(
Anywho! I had a bowl of potato soup for breakfast this morning. Was yummy.
Keep forgetting to post in here until I look through my SD card. Anyway, the meals I had over the last couple days;
Tara made some crazy good lamb pitas. She'd have to tell you exactly what was in them, all I know was they were packed full of delicious.
Attachment 64411
I made a wild mushroom risotto. I've made a variety of risottos before but this one was by FAR the best, definitely the recipe I'll be using from now on.
Attachment 64412
And lastly I made some tangy gem potatoes tossed with smoked salmon. I was really unsure of this one but it looked interesting so I decided to try it out, and I'm glad I did. This dish was really (and I mean, really) easy to make, and tasted great. Probably wouldn't ever cook it as a main again, but as an accompaniment/side to a dinner it would be great.

Going to Red Lobster for lunch.
Kinda sad. There's a place on the water with outdoor seating I'm dying to try.
I made quinoa-stuffed bell peppers for dinner tonight, they turned out amazing. Unfortunately, the recipe can't really be scaled down well, so I made six of them. Hopefully they reheat well, taking one to work tomorrow for lunch.
^ They do!
I made fried chicken, brussels sprouts (they were the frozen kind. In butter. lol That's bad), and these like Southwestern skillet potatoes.
I diced up a couple of russet potatoes and threw them in a skillet with some chopped red onion, serrano pepper, cumin, garlic salt, pepper and satueed them until the potatoes were crispy. Squeezed some ketchup on top. My bf loved them :D
Nothing today on account of surgery later. I'll be eating after it though, I'm starving!
Our oven is currently broken, but I wanted to do a roast vegetable sort of thing. So I've made some pan roasted potatoes, charred baby carrots and some prosciutto wrapped asparagus. It was really yummy but I wish I'd bought a higher quality prosciutto. The deli in our grocery store stopped stocking it fresh for slicing so I had to buy a pre-packaged one and it was just too salty and probably not sliced thin enough for my tastes. Still a good dinner though.
Attachment 64441
I'm not an asparagus fan but that looks delicious
McDonald's.
1/3 lb sirloin bacon burger with white american cheese. And fries and unsweetened iced tea <3
It wasn't bad. XD
Meatball banh mi for dinner. :jess:
Had some bomb Jerk wings with carrots, cabbage, and rice and peas.
It's grocery day so the kitchen is pretty sparse. For breakfast I made a frozen mango lemonade and now I feel all jazzed. So delicious and refreshing!
I just had some homemade buffalo chicken chip dip on crackers at 1am because it's never not a bad time to eat something so delicious.
Shrimp Scampi with Zoodles! (Zucchini Noodles)
Caramel Fudge Cheesecake...for breakfast...
I did a shrimp boil with potatoes and corn with a ton of lemon, like, garlic, onion, beer, Old Bay and salt-free Cajun seasonings last night. Was maaaaad yummy
I had a Cuban Press sandwich w/ Ruffle chips & a soft serve swirl ice cream cone from Jason's Deli & it was all great. I also had a Frappe from McD's.
Having a big breakfast today. A mango smoothie and some banana porridge. For dinner I'm going to make some well sexy fajitas!
I had a fresh tomato and jalapeno sandwich. Served on white bread with a touch of Duke's mayonnaise, salt, and black pepper.
I probably sound all southern, but whatever. It reminded me of visits to my grandma's when I was little, and tasted great.
For dinner, pumpkin made some great pork chops and a tasty veggie medley. Two good meals, and a roof over my head. I'm a fortunate person.
Lulz... Did you ever have just plain mayonnaise sandwiches? Those were the trout when I was a kid.
Jif brand peanut butter has whipped peanut butter. It's sooo yummy. I had some on toast this morning with a bit of honey and tiny pinch of coarse sea salt. I had white tea with it.
I want to make cheesecake.
I'm going to make nutella and strawberry crepes with homemade spiced whipped cream and maybe some savory crepes of some sort for dinner! :D
"Fat Fries" from a place called Fat Bao.

So good.
Leftover pizza from last night.
Steak, crescent roll, and a mixed green salad with goat cheese, strawberries, blueberries, and a vinaigrette with chili oil, red wine vinegar, and salt and pepper.
I was gonna do blanched and sauteed green beans, but we had a lot going on so I didn't have time. Parker loved the steak, at least. She wanted to like the salad, but the dressing I made was too spicy for her. She only ate one bite.
I had some cookies of a plane.
Parmesan and truffle fries, salt and pepper baby squid, duck pancakes, nachos, and a malteser and strawberry sundae.
*food coma*
I've had two croissants with Jam and three pieces of Terry's Chocolate Orange.
It's not Terry's, it's mine.
Also, I am universally jealous of every single meal Pheesh and Fury have. When I go to visit my sister in New Zealand, I am gonna fly over to Oz and demand food from them.
Also, Pheesh and Fury sound like a pair of cartoon-animal crime fighters.
A bacon roll at lunch.
Nothing ;_;
I haven't eaten since Friday.
I'm down 10 lbs though, so there's that.
Bacon, hashbrowns, multigrain toast with peanut butter and some yogurt. I really should eat more, but I always have difficulty motivating myself to cook.
Some bread rolls and chocolate wafers. :P
I had sea salted caramel gelatto .. And I added a bit of hot fudge and crushed pretzel to it.. lol...
And a blt with thick cut pepper bacon, avocado, heirloom tomato, red onion, romaine lettuce, and a chipotle-lime mayo on multi-grain bread. :D
Annnnd I made a fire roasted tomato salsa and guacamole ! I got these really yummy all natural thin tortilla chips that're salt-free.
A bowl of mini weetabix with the chocolate bits in it.
Had a shredded beef burrito. Turns out Shorty also had a burrito today.
I'm making tacos today. I have a nice big lump of pork slow cooking in some spice and garlic, ready for crunchy tacos later! Deliiiicious!
I have a colonoscopic examination scheduled this Friday, so today I am only eating yoghurts, cream cheese, and so on. It could have been worse, I think.
Attachment 66366
Made the most divine potato, Brussels sprouts, and pecorino hash. I could have eaten so much more. Had it topped with breaded cod! Happy happy tummy!
I ate: a small cheescake, 2 small cake slices, a salmon, potato and veg dinner, 2 heated buns with melted butter and jam. im still up, so i still could eat something tasty and comforting
