Just the first two. I'm not counting battles that happen in other dimensions. ;)
So the order is: second, third, first, fourth and fifth for a total of five floors.

Fine...I suppose I'll ask the question....
Q: Say the coordinates (X, Y) where you find the Vanish Mantle at you-know-where that is near Poeskas Lake. ;)
I'm not sure how we can agree on X and Y coordinates, but I remember it is in the very center at the top of the peak. So I will guess the coordinates are (7,7) that sounds like the middle of the screen to me! :D
You can get the Vanish Mantle at (4,6) on Germinas Peak.
Where's the next question?
Oh, my bad. I guess I should have more confidence in my answer. :greenie:
Question: Name a way to inflict the Oil status effect without resorting to suicidal moves by Bomb-type monsters (Bombs, Grenades, and Explosives).
The red-shirted ghosts, called Gusts, have an oil causing ability called Grease Touch. I can't think of any human job skills that cause 'Oil', so I hope that's the one you were thinking of.
Question: How do you make a male character dance? :strut: (Or a female character sing? :sing: )
Answer: Give them the mime ability as their secondary ability, or you can just keep them as a girl/boy mime and have them mime the last command of a bard/dancer. That has to be it....(Nice use of emoticons LOL)
Question: (I feel like being nice) What is Agrias's last name?
Nice one, Mr. Mage. Mimicry is the way to make men dance and women sing. Welcome to the EoFF site, hope you enjoy it as much as I do. See you around.
As for your question, her last name is Oaks.
Q: How old is Yardow Fort City?
10 Centuries.
Question: What battle doesn't automatically end when all the enemies have been defeated?
BTW, I was thinking of Byblos' Parasite skill to cause Oil status, but I figured there were others.
Answer: Gosh...I don't know the name of it. I do remember it is the one with the dam. You have to hit that stupid switch. It took me forever to beat the enemies, and then I forgot what to do! That should be a good enough answer...just can't remember the name of the place...I think it might be Zeltennia or the Bethla Garrison? (Forgive my spelling, very vague to me.)
Question: What is the first monster you encounter as a guest?(Another easy one :()
That's Wiegraf's Chocobo, Boco! :choc:
Question: Which characters are Holy Knights?
Well it's Agrias, Cid, & Delita. That is as far as I can remember of Characters on YOUR side.
Thanks- BudSoda02 BudSoda02@yahoo.com
Answer: Delita and Agrias...I think there may be one more...if so it is Wiegraf.Quote:

So just try to name the four 'victims' who can be killed or definitely were killed by relatives. (and, no, I'm not thinking "what if I had Rafa kill Malak, or vice versa?") :p
It's Izlude & Vormav! That's her brother & father! That's Meliadoul's Brother & Father!!!! Although two other people posted parts of the answer :( ... but I knew that w/o looking at them :D

:whimper: It's been a couple of days since I posted a question. Isn't anyone going to at least hazard a guess? The question isn't too difficult, I think, because these betrayals are really big moments in the story! Please, please, somebody post a reply to the question! :-\
Vormav killed Izlude.
Dycedarg killed Balbanes
Dycedarg "killed" (or rather, zombified) Zalbag
Ramza (and friends) killed the zombified Zalbag
Oh, and I think that this red panther I invited killed his uncle, who was a cuar.
Feion
Close enough Feioncastor! I was getting worried that I made this question too long or something. One more detail to add: Zalbag, after finding out Dycedarg killed their father, goes after Dyce. Now, you can 'stop' Zal or put him to 'sleep' and let someone else take Dyce out. Either way he turns into Adramelk, and someone in your party (possibly Ramza) must kill Adramelk (Dycedarg). So there is one more there. But, as I said, close enough. You're up! :D
Well the Zombified version was being controlled by the 'braves' & was more like a vampire than Zombie. If he got right beside you, he'd do that spell suck blood' & you can't control the character who was bitten. He couldn't control his body & told Ramza to get away, but he didn't & had to kill Zalbag. In my opinion Zalbag was the only truly good person besides Ramza of the brothers. But this isn't thew board for this...
Thanks- BudSoda02 BudSoda02@yahoo.com
Sorry I was REALLY tired here, yeah I know it's Zalbag...
We're waiting for a real tough one, Feioncastor!
Man, I really can't think of one. Mine all suck. Like Job requirements and stuff.Quote:

I've always wanted to do this:
Thanks- Feion feionsoda02@yahoo.com
Squire requires 1620 jp to master all skills. At that jp level, you'd be a 7th level Squire. I'm sorry, but I have to look at my saved games at least. I mean, for questions that involve jp numbers, you shouldn't just take a blind guess. We'd be here all year going "1800", no, "1900", no too high, "1850", no still too high, "1500", no now you're too low, etc. etc. unless someone with a photographic memory for numbers can recall the total jp needed for each of the 10 Squire abilities. I don't think consulting your FFTactics saved games to be "cheating" in any way. Sorry if we disagree on this. :( But you might need to consult your saved games for this next question:
Where did Elidibs get his wizard training? :save: :meditate: :save: Before he turned into a Lucavi-possesed bad guy... :radred:
Gariland Magic City, wasn't it?
Edit: I'll be more specific. The Royal Magic Academy in Gariland Magic City.
That's right! Ask the next question BG. :p
Question: Which two weapons would have more accurate names if they traded names?
You must be referring to the mixed up guns. The Blaze gun fires ice elemental bullets, and the Glacier gun fires fire elemental bullets. They could be considered more appropriately named if they were reversed. I always rationalized it by thinking, "Well, the Glacier gun is for destroying glaciers :shoot: ; and the Blaze gun is for quenching blazes. :hot: :bgl:
I guess I'll ask an easy one, because I've run out of tough ones:
What messenger does Malak send to Ramza to 'invite' him to Riovanes Castle?
Oh gosh, I blank out the Rafa/Malak section of story. Um.. Isn't it a frog? A frog comes and tells you to go to Riovanes.. where you fight Weigraf. If im right, wow can my memory work if not, meh.
Edit: Its been a while and no one has guessed. Can someone tell me if I am right?
You are correct. I call it the Mission: Impossible frog.
This frog will self-destruct in 10 seconds...*BLAM* ;)
Your turn to ask a question.
Nah, saved games aren't cheating. I mean looking in your guide, or on the net for an answer. But saved games are legit. Let's see if I can do this, just out of curiosity, since we're waiting for a questionQuote:

Yeah, nice work you two! Glad we can agree that using the game itself is kosher. Where is RedCydranth? We need another question. :rolleyes2:
Sorry for the delay guys :p I was too busy playing FF2 of all games.
I lost my version of FFT somewhere (cries). Anyone know where I can get a new/used copy of the original version? NON-GREATEST HITS!! I hate the green on the side and I'm very particular about the game and its case.
Ok heres the question:
Elidibs of the Deep Dungeon has several monsters as guardians. What are they called?
Not too hard, but enough that only a skilled player would know.
Apandas
1,2,3,4,5...6 Apandas. You go, Feion!
Indeed they are Apandas. Byblos is also an Apanda.

I got a secondhand copy at Babbages (a video game store similar to Electronics Boutique) a few years ago, but it was hard to find, even then.Quote:

What is Marquis Elmdor's first name?
Mesdoram
Question: What is the translation for this text?
I hope this isn't sadistically hard. :rolleyes2 I copied it as accurately as I could from the game.
Limberry is my best guess.
Correct! :) It's taken from the world map.
Your turn to ask a question.
Wait! How did you know that it said Limberry?
The way I decoded the script on the world map was by comparison.
Since the seven countries in Ivalice are: Fovoham, Gallione, Murond, Lesalia, Lionel, Limberry, and Zeltennia and each country has a city/location named for it, I was able to match the English names to the script on the map.
From there, I compared the script symbols to the English letters and found a strong match for most of them. It helps that many of the script symbols seem to be based on their English counterparts.
The table below details my efforts at assigning English letters to script symbols. Note that both R and L are represented by the same symbol, which is not surprising since the distinction is not made in Japanese.
The way I figured it out was a little easier. I looked at the map (which I recognized the characters from, you see I am obsessed with FFT) and found the corresponding symbols. I know Marquis Elmdor of Limberry (when you rescue him early in the game it mentions he's from there) lives in the region by those symbols, thus that must be Limberry.
My question: What is the strongest weapon a dancer can equip without aid of any abilities or skills (i.e. Equip Sword etc.)?
Dancers can equip daggers, cloth, or bags (because they're female). So I'd say the rare FS Bag is the most powerful, based solely on attack power (20). Although I don't like bags very much because they often hit for less (damage is random), so I usually prefer Ryozan Silk. I will wait a while for confirmation, because I'm not 100% sure if FS Bag is the correct answer.
By the way, Tactics is fighting for survival in the FF Survivor 6 thread in the General Final Fantasy archives  . Please help it hang in there! ;)
The answer is FS Bag. Good Job.
I voted FF3 because it is the worst game on the list. Even if FFT makes it out of this round its going down next round because people are insolent fools who don't know greatness when they see it.
Help support FFT in Survivor 6! Go to the General Final Fantasy page and vote!
Question: Which combination of headware, armor, and accessory will protect some characters from all of the following status and spells 100% of the time, without reflecting the spell or absorbing hp?
Berserk, Blood Suck, Charm, Confusion, Darkness, Dead, Death Sentence, Don't Act, Don't Move, Earth Elem. Magic, Frog, Invite, Lightning Elem. Magic, Petrify, Poison, Silence, Sleep, Slow, Stop, Undead (20 in all!)
Remember, no reflection, no absorbtion... And not all characters can equip all three items. ;)
Well Ribbon obviously. It'll cancel everything except Earth and Lightning Elemental Magic. Both Rubber Suit and Rubber Boots block Lightning.
Are you sure that absorption isn't allowable? Earth Clothes is the only armor/accessory I can find that deals with Earth Magic, so I'll go with:
Earth Clothes
Ribbon
Rubber Boots
Yeah, no absorption. :scary: When I was brainstorming this question I was originally thinking "What combo will protect you from the most status effects and spells without reflecting them?" Simple, but there were 3 different combos. So, I had to get more specific and decided to eliminate absorbing the spell as well. That takes it to just one combo. ;) You're very close, but there is another item you can use to make a character immune to Earth magic. :DQuote:

That is the correct combo, BG-57. Sorry it took me so long to post a reply, I had waaay too much fun last night. Anyway, it's your shot bro'!
That question required some lateral thinking. Well done Despotus! :)
Question: Name two battles that have names that are anagrams of other words. Include the original words.
MLAPAN =NAPALM
NOGIAS =SAIGON
2 of the deep dungeon Levels.
Correct!
Your turn RedCydranth. :)
Which of Rafa's Truth skills causes status effects?
Space Storage.
Question: What's the first battle in which you can get an item by Move-Find that cannot ever be purchased in shops?
I think it's Bervennia Volcano where you'll find Cloud's Materia Blade... but that's just a guess. :fpindesc:
Germinas Peak's Vanish Mantle is my guess.
RedCydranth, Germinas Peak was what I was thinking of, but I think you have a point, Despotus. If memory serves, Bervennia Volcano appears on the map first in chapter 4, and you could technically go there before Germinas Peak, but you won't need to as part of the plot until after you get a certain character who drops hints about it.
Yeah, the Volcano appears just after you finish the Riovannes Castle battles. I've been there in my current game, but G. Peak hasn't appeared yet... so should I ask one?
Unfortunately, my question was too vague. :( You're both correct, and you answered first. So go ahead.
Thinking chronologically, who is the first character that dies in a scene or battle that actually plays out on screen? (To explain further, St. Ajora's execution doesn't count because we didn't see it.) ;)
Do flashbacks count?
Oh yes.
Balbanes?
You said in a battle or a scene. The first death would be whoever those in the battle outside of Orbonne. Gafgarion orders Ramza and Rad to kill them all, and Agrias is more for the holding back approach.
Feion
But you don't know if those guys die in the first scene, especially since they have stars above their bodies when they are defeated. I'd go with the fight directly after that.
Dies in a flashback within the ch. 1 flashback. His is the first death, chronologically. BG-57?Quote:

Which Lucavi does Ramza and his crew personally kill?
Queklain, Velius, Zalera, Adramelk, Altima, Serpentarius (almost forgot him!).
Not Hashmalum, though. (SPOILER) He opts for hari-kiri.
I don't think any other Lucavi make an appearance, unless I'm mistaken. Of course not all the stones are used to possess characters.
I don't know what to think about Altima's death. If I remember correctly, she (it?) is more or less defeated by Ramza and Co. but then (SPOILER)she/it comes back and destroys herself, along with the airship and Ramza's crew...right? (SPOILER)So she kinda sorta blows herself up in a last act of destructive malice. :radred: :skull:
I definitely agree that Hashmalum (SPOILER)sacrificed himself to resurrect Ajora. He was standing and talking just fine just before he ripped himself apart. :whoa:
And I believe Ramza's Renegades personally, directly, and fully execute, destroy, and slaughter the other 5 (Queklain, Velius, Zalera, Adramelk, and Serpentarius). :chop:
Ah, but you don't HAVE to kill Serpentarius :D
BG-57 got it.
Sorry it took me so long to respond.
Name a monster that has:
1) One eye.
2) Two eyes.
3) Six eyes.
4) Seven eyes or more.
Obviously, I'm looking for four different answers here. Any monster that matches is fine. :)
One Eye - Ahriman
2 Eyes - Uribo
6 Eyes - Hyudra
8 Eyes - Morbol
What is the only place the Taiju naturally appears?
One eye: Flotiball, Ariman, Plague
Two eyes: take your pick, but I'll go with Goblin, Black Goblin, Gobbledeguck
Six eyes: Hydra, Hyudra, Tiamat
Seven or more: Morbol, Ochu, Great Morbol
I think these are right, but confirmation would be great. ;)
Hahahaha a tie! I shouldn't have put down all the names and just done one for each! :D
Anyway, I'll take a stab at Red Cydranth's question.
Well, I am sure that they appear in the Deep Dungeon.. so let's try starting each battle to see which enemies appear.
*searching...searching...searching...searching...success!* :D
On Mlapan I found a battle with 6 Woodmen, 2 Trents, and a Taiju! So it must be Mlapan. ;)
Question: Besides those who say, "Damn", which I don't consider to be a curse word, who is the only character to swear in the game? Be careful when answering so that you don't get censored like this: :skull: :skull: :skull: :skull:
I think it's Dycedrag when you defeat him in his Holy Brave form... I'm not 100% sure...

Question:
What are 3 ways to get a "Save the Queen" sword? (No item duplicating cheat allowed :nonono: )
Edit: There are more than 3 ways, if you want to name them all... go ahead. But 3 will suffice. :)
1. Deep Dungeon TERMINATE Move-Find-Item
2. Steal from Rofel in the Book Storage
3. Meliadoul owns one
Which is the only Ninja Sword with evasion above 10%?
Sasuke Knife has an evade of 15%.
Question: What is particularly odd about the descriptions of the Genji Helmet and Genji Armor that is not the case with the Genji Shield and Genji Armlet?
The colors given in the description are wrong. The G. Armor, G. Helmet, and G. Shield are all described as being 'Black', while only the Shield really is black. The G. Gauntlet's color is described correctly as 'Crimson', which I think would better describe the Armor and Helmet as well. Well...maybe the Helmet should be Crimson and White... :p
Is that what you were thinking, BG?
You got it! :)
Sorry for the delay I was on vacation & had no access to a computer/net. :( Let's see If I recall correctly. Who is the 13th Zodaic brave/ who posseses the 13th Zodiac stone. Hint: It's in Deep Dungeon. Bonus Question: What's the name of that level/place? Does this satisfy you?
Thanks- BudSoda02 BudSoda02@yahoo.com
Serpentarius is the 13th Zodiac Brave.
Elidibs is the proud owner of the Serpentarius stone. He's a legendary wizard from the 50 year war.
END is, appropriately enough, the final level of deep dungeon where you get to meet these guys.
I believe that's right, BG-57. You go ahead and ask the next one. I'm going to take a pass for now...uggh...can't..think.. :Oo:
I'm scrounging for questions as well. :greenie:
Question: What does Gafgarion or Orlandu occasionally say when they use the skill Night Sword?
Night Sword
I mean the phrase they sometimes say out loud in a word balloon when using Night Sword.
Isn't it something to the effect of "Master of swords, cut energy, Night Sword!"?
You are correct. :)
Ask away.
What jobs can use Axes without the "Equip Axe" ability?
Geomancer's and Squires
That would be my guess
Correct. You're up.
What is the name of the temple where you fight "Worker 7"?
It's Nelveska Temple right? It's on an island just outside of the Ivalice mainland.
Thanks- BudSoda02 BudSoda02@yahoo.com
You are correct sir!
You ask the next question
(By the way- I am new to this Fora)
Welcome aboard! :) Hopefully you will find the experience rewarding.
Thank you. Hopefully people will start asking more questions...
It looks like this is getting a little slower
Since no one is asking, I'll go ahead. BudSoda, when you get back the question is yours.
The Summon, Golem, absorbs damage from all weapons except which?
My guess would be weapons that have an element.
Yeah, weapons like Glacier gun and stuff.
The elemental guns. Correct.
So BTV or me next?
Go ahead Feion, I guessed all elemental weapons while you were more specific.
I'm ready for the next question.
Who were the two characters thought dead by the church & had fakes who look like them to take their place; so that they could be freed from the church? Hint: One happens at the end of the game.
Thanks- BudSoda02 BudSoda02@yahoo.com
One of them was Cidofolas Orlandu, and the other was.... I don't know....
I remember the one involving Cid. Wasn't there an execution of a fake Ovelia? Or am I confusing FFT with the plot of Suikoden II? :D
The fake Ovelia execution at Golgorand Execution Site was to lure Agrias and Ramza into a trap, where Gafgarion awaited them, disguised as the executioner (I'm sure this isn't what you were referring to). I don't believe that anyone was ever actually killed and made to look as though it was Ovelia that died.Quote:

Feion
You're right BG-57 & no, you didn't confuse the plot with Suikoden III. The only one people remember was about a fifth of the way through the game which Gafarion set a trap for Ramza. Delita had helped the Ovelia escape from that corrupt Priest who turned into a Zodiac Brave Monster & he's also the same Priest who hired Bart Company to kill Mustadio's Dad. Remember. I know this plot's very twisted. (People say VII & VIII are, but they forget Tactics!) So you're up BG-57. I don't know who the Fake Cid was Feion, they (the party) gave him a blessing & said his death wouldn't be a waste. I'm guessing it was one of Cid's most trusted soldiers...
Thanks- BudSoda02 BudSoda02@yahoo.com
Grevados, a Glabados priest and advisor to Goltana was the fall guy and Cid's stand-in.
Question: The families of which we meet several members in Tactics (Boeuvle, Hyral, Folles, Gatnana, Bunanza, and Tingel) always lack the same relative. Who always gets left out?
The Mommy
Correct! :)
Even when Balbanes lies on his deathbed, neither the mother of Zalbag and Dycedarg, nor of Ramza or Alma are present. Granted, he may have been a widower twice, but isn't the lack of mothers in any of these families a little preposterous? :rolleyes2
Of all the characters in the game, which is most likely to bore you to sleep?
that's kind of an obscure question. If no one figures it out, I'll ask a different one.
Feion
Professor Daravon!
Question: What effect does the 'oil' status have?
Fire does double damage.
What attack can inflict either death, petrification, or stop, usually with 100% efficacy?
You're wrong, BtV ;)
It makes you weak to Fire elemental damage.
Apanda's Bio would do that I think.
Nope, you're still wrong, BG-57.
I think it makes fire elemental damage do double (against you) but just for one attack. And it might come from one of the ghouls attacks, but im not sure.
I looked it up in the in-game tutorial. Does it have it wrong?
Grease Touch causes the Oil status, among others.
BTW, the Bio thing is my answer to Behold the Void's question.
Hehe, it's a trick question, acutally. Due to a programming error, the oil status actually has no effect at all, despite what its description says.
Behold the Void, are you referring to that petrifying attack that the Vampire fires out of its tail?
Actually, no, I am not, on either of those, but my question is probably invalidated because the little trick question thing by the sneaky doctor. If you want to keep guessing though, go ahead.
You mean 'Blaster', Despotus?
Is it Cloud's Limit 'Finishing Touch'?
Or perhaps the Malboro's Breath attack.
Yeah, that's it. But I don't think it can cause 'Death'.Quote:

Cloud's Limit Break Finish Touch is correct.
I'll ask a question anyway since there are no others to answer.
Question: What combination of weapon, armor, helmet, shield and accessory will make a certain character who already looks out of place look even more out of place? There is only one combination. Naming the character is optional.
Cloud's Materia Blade is a "foreign" sword, and the Genji Helmet, Armor, Shield and Gauntlet are all "foreign" as well. I guess wearing all of those would make Cloud look even more out of place. :joker:
He sure would. You're up. :)
Who are the oldest and the youngest human characters in the game?
Two names...
(No Zodiac Braves or Ajora ;) )
Oldest- The monk who holds the book....Alazlam
Youngest- Teta
Orinas is younger than Teta, so there.
Funeral is older than Alazlam, unless you don't count him cause he dies.
Feion
Timeline wise, wouldnt Alazlam be the youngest?(isnt he telling the story and he's way in the future from when the game took place?)
If not then Orinas(age 9).
Oldest would be Funeral(not sure but deff. looks the oldest), or if because he dies then Orlandu(age 64).
That's who I was thinking of. Orinas is just a baby at the start of the game and Funeral is wickedly ancient. I also think Simon is quite old but not as old as Funeral. Your go, Feion. :pQuote:

Question: Name two lands that lie beyond the borders of Ivalice.
ordalia is one.... i don't know the other... wait! there's only one isn't there??!
There are seven countries in Ivalice. Anything that isn't one of the seven must lie outside the borders. Two are visible, and Ordalia is one of them. You're halfway there. :greenie:
(SPOILER) Look across the water.
Birthplace of the cool guns, to the north, the island state of Romanda.
Feion
but... but... i thought that was an ivalician...(is that even right?) province... grr... gotta get back fft.... sooo rusty....by the way... i'm uhm... errol... but you can call me darkblade117... i'm new here... obviously... but not in the fft world... been playing since it came out... i stopped cuz my bro told me to trade in my playstation and games for halo 2.... ooops.... i shouldn't be doing this here... :D
You are correct Feion! Ask away. :)
Welcome to the forums Darkblade117. Hope you find them enjoyable.
To answer your question: the game mentions that Ivalice is made up of seven regions: Fovoham, Lesalia, Lionel, Galionne, Murond, Limberry and Zeltennia. Two other land masses are visible on the map: Ordalia and Romanda. We know very little about either of them. Since the Lion War is essentially a civil war, neither country plays a significant role.
I was about to ask a question about the provinces of Ivalice, but I guess not now.Quote:

Question: Where in the game do you see a 'battlefield' that looks like a giant staircase with a pillar to the right connected by a thin bridge, all composed out of checkerboard tiles of two alternating, constrasting colors? Note the quotation marks.
i could be wrong but i think it's Poeskas Lake... there's a pillar there... and uhm... i guess the place looks checkerboard like... i dunno... or is it murond death city?... no wait! it's under... uhm... orbonne monastery... i can't remember
I have a bad feeling like once you tell us or someone figures it out, the rest of us are gonna go "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh..... Okay." or something...
Feion
You may be right. :greenie:
I'm not sure how to clarify the question without giving it away. Hmmm...let me put it this way: (SPOILER) This is not a battlefield in the conventional sense, like say Mandalia Plains or Bethla Garrison.
I think i know what you're talking about, but i dont know what its called.
Do you fight a zodiac monster guy there?
No Zodiac monsters in this one. The only characters you see are two oracles, a white mage, a floating squire, and two knights.
that's helpful... ... a floating squire... i don't remember any floating squire... the only enemy i remember floating was that one knight that was hidden in the moat during the battle at the gate of riovanes castle before the battle against weigraf
Well, Yuguo Woods and Poeskas Lake also has floating (and undead) enemy units, but not squires.
I may have asked a question that's too hard. :sweatdrop
How about this? (SPOILER) Your party isn't involved in this 'battle', nor do you control any of the units that appear on the screen. So where in the game can you witness 'battles' without participating?
You can do that in Tactics
Crap, I have this major feeling that I'm overlooking something big that will make me feel like a complete moron when you do tell us.
Is it in the tutorial battle? In the tutorial menu? Alazam teaches you more advanced tactics on battling.
Like I said, I lost my copy of FFT a while back and haven't played in a while so this is all from memory.
You are correct! :D
Specifically it's the 'battle' Daravan uses to explain status ailments.
You're up, RedCydranth.
Which explains much, as I never bothered with the Tutorial :D
Oooooh, an Evil question that one was... :evilking:
Yeah, I had a feeling it would be. :greenie:
What happened to RedCydranth?
crystallized or treasure chested? who knows.... ;)
should we skip him? its been like over a week
vote for me! :)
I'll ask another question while we wait. Don't worry, it's easy. ;)
Question: Generally there are items that only female units can equip(bags, ribbons and perfumes). Name the only exception to this rule.
Bonus Points: The exception is clearly an in-joke. What is it?
Cloud can equip some female items, possibly due to the days he spent (SPOILER)as a crossdresser in FFVII
Correct and Correct! Specifically Ribbons. Pity he can't equip Perfumes as well. :)
What are Meliadoul and Orlandu unable to break?
Accessories?
I thought it was shields.
Incorrect on both of those, actually.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question here. We are talking about the Mighty Sword skill set that that both Meliadoul and T.G. Cid share, right?
Sorry guys... I went into the hospital (no worries, I'm OK)
Not even close to crystalizaion yet!
I've been skipped, its cool, I'd do the same after someone was presumed treasure chested.
My guess, like I said numerous times, i haven't played cuz i cant find my copy, is Helmet.
I could be wrong.. and prolly am.
it's shield.... BG-57 is right... check it in the abilities page.
I never said class-specific. I only asked what can they not break.
oh okay.... so i guess it's PA, MA, speed, and uhm...MP. and that's it.
No.
Okay, Here's Meliadoul and Orlandu's skills:
Meliadoul:
Shellbust Stab Destroys the target's equipped armor.
Blastar Punch Destroys the target's equipped helmet.
Hellcry Punch Destroys the target's equipped weapon.
Icewolf Bite Destroys the target's equipped accessory.
Orlandu:
Stasis Sword Damages with holy sword spirit.
Split Punch Damages with holy sword spirit
Crush Punch Damages with holy sword spirit.
Lightning Stab Damages with holy sword spirit.
Holy Explosion Damages with holy sword spirit.
Shellbust Stab Destroys the target's equipped armor.
Blastar Punch Destroys the target's equipped helmet.
Hellcry Punch Destroys the target's equipped weapon.
Icewolf Bite Destroys the target's equipped accessory.
Dark Sword Absorbs MP with the power of darkness.
Night Sword Absorbs MP with the power of darkness.
And since you say its not class specific Here's the Knight's break abilities:
Head Break Used to destroy item equipped on enemy's head
Armor Break Used to destroy item equipped on enemy's chest
Shield Break Used to destroy equipped shield of enemy
Weapon Break Used to destoy equipped weapon of enemy.
Magic Break Diminishes enemy's MP.
Speed Break Diminishes enemy's speed level.
Power Break Diminishes enemy's attack power.
Mind Break Diminishes enemy's magic attack power.
So, if Meliadoul and/or Orlandu are their original class and are subclassed knights with all abilities they can NOT break someone's brave or faith.
(All info is taken from Job/Ability FAQ on gamefaqs.com)
They can't break equipment protected by the 'Maintenance' Skill.
Despotus is correct, although RedCydranth's answer is also acceptable. I'll give this to RedCydranth since he was supposed to go anyways.
In lieu of a difficult question, I'll throw a really easy one. How much JP does it cost to learn Fly?
1200 JP.
Hope you guys like logic puzzles. :D
Question: Since there seems to be a Zodiac Stone for each Zodiac Monster, which stones must Hashmalum and Altima possess?
i think Hashmalum has leo and Altima has... virgo?
I know one! What JP does every action ability for a Samurai require?
You'll have to get a question right before you can ask the next question, vireblaze. ;)
Correct! :)Quote:

Whatever. How am I suppose to answer a question when I'm away, and somebody else answers it, and it's to late for me to answer it?
^The first person to get it right asks the next question so it doesnt really matter. If you're too late and someone gets it right and its confirmed then dont answer that question.
When you first start how many people are in Orbonne Monestary(at first, before anyone else enters) and what are their names?
There are 3 characters there, Princess Ovelia (kneeling), Simon (the priest standing by her), and Agrias (the knight who pleads with her to leave). Then Gafgarion, Ramza, and Rad come in...
I'm pretty confident of my answer, so I'll ask a question. If I was wrong just disregard this:
Which spell(s) can a 'frogged' enemy cast (if they can cast any spells at all...)?
yeah it was right
none... a character in frog status can only move... unless u have counter magic equipped... then it's whatever magic hits you.
Darkblade, I think you're right I'm 90% sure. You might as well go. SAVE THE THREAD!!
-BudSoda02 BudSoda02@yahoo.com
nope...there is a spell they can cast ;)
Can they still cast Frog?
