You will find these at a dark place and are vital if you want to get a great power! :)
Celestial wepons, crests or sigils?
Nope! :) try again!
The magus Sisters
Destruction spheres or the tresure in the Cloister of Trials?
Nope!
Does the riddle relate to a fiend and the item they drop to give you a great power?
Dark Matter
Omega WEAPON and Kimahri's Nova Overdrive?
Aeons? The Chambers of Fayth all seem to be dark (from the ones you see.)
damm halentine was sooner snik i wanted to say that youl see its the right one if so ill go mad (just kidding)
Still no lol!
Could it be cactuars? - you find them in the thunder plains (which is dark) and they do give you chocobo wings which are vital to get the great power of hastega.
Dark Aeons
hidden places with ultimate weapons near them?
Nope!
CAN U GIVE US A HINT?
Ultimate has been closest with the thunder plains theory so just work on that!
Lulu's celestial weapon I haven't read any of the other posts so if I'm way off, please excuse me. :D
um, the machina panzer? (from chapter 5)
this is x not x-2 so no chappies :P:D
I have no idea :( lol
Still no,*sigh* i`ll give you another clue. it`s to do with someones celestial weapon, not Lulu!
khimari's legendary weapon. the spirit lance. after activating e cactuar stones a ghost comes in southern thunder plains. Find it and press square or somethin to sensd a lightnin bolt to a tower and fina cjhest containing the weapon
YES! :D Blood hunter got it, oh! and to get technical, there Qaucter stones not cactuar
o well, i failed reading last marking pewriod so there.WHoever wants to can go
Open me to discover the future.
What am I?
Is this a book?
I can`t think when the future was mentioned in FFX, it`s usally all about death and destruction!
No, it's not a book. The reference to the future isn't explicit, you need to look for it in a metaphor.
sin maybe tidus goes in it and comes to the future
at the beggining where tidus is sent to the future after zanarkand is destroyed?
No and no. That's too metaphorical. View 'open' in the literal sense.
is it open your mind
Farplane? or is that past?
is it .....sin
(SPOILER)as in you physically open sin for the well being of the future of Spira.
ummm.how do u open sin?
(SPOILER)when you fight him and beat both his arms and then his core, then his head he literally opens up for the airship to go inside him.
tidus quote "if we can't find a hole, then let's just make our own"
oooo.srry i only got up to zanarkand then my cd scrathed all the way and i couldnt play
It isn't Sin, or the mind, or the Farplane. I'll give you another hint. (SPOILER)There is more than 1 of them.
I GOT IT. The answer is a wrd.I just dotn know that wrd.CAn u drop 1 more hint
OK, one more hint, but then I want some more guesses. (SPOILER)I can turn your anger into something more productive.
Auron underneath Lake Macalania after fighting wendigo
No. I can't see where you got that one from
This ones hard, ermmm?
seymour
Not Seymour. There is only one of him. The narrator of the riddle isn't a person. It's more of a 'thing'.
it is the mimics in omega ruins? no idea
OK, I'll narrow it down a bit. It's an item.
Door to Tomorrow.
Someone else take a riddle.
Well done Sir Bahamut. Would you care to explain how you came to that conclusion so all the people who guessed before you can see where they went wrong? :D
Well, I found the riddle on the previous page, and saw at once that the answer must be Door to Tomorrow. Reading the metaphor is simple enough; you open a door, and tomorrow is the future.
It's all about playing the game to the point where you have these names at the back of your head. ;)
Jump back then attack.
Edit:Probably dumb riddle
evade and counter
u couldve just put counterattack but yours wrks too
ill pass my turn im not that good with ridlless
With counterattack you take the damage then hit back, yet with Evade and Counter you jump back.
Anyways,
"Take the time to find me,
And I'll be and the damnest of places.
I am guarded by the winged beast,
Yet I am not guarded by any beast.
A useless record, some might say,
And then throw me away;
But look out for me, pick me up,
Or you will dearly pay."
Home?
Nope.
Bevelle, evrae?
jecht/braska spheres??
Collecting the Albehd Primers
Tailz is right.
"I am guarded by the winged beast, Yet I am not guarded by any beast." talked about Dark Valefor and it not being in the NTSC version, and i was about to bring that up.
oh god no not again
well anyone els go i really aint good at riddles srry bout that
thoug i will keep posting answers if im right next time just make up a new question itl be a lot easier that way
who do you want to go?
Dosen`t really matter, he did say anyone!Quote:

Zanarkand?
no. but a very close reply
Tidus?
Jecht? Sin?
Forest Owl is correct. Your turn.
"all alone on my own
underneath the scorching sun.
rivers run through me
over rocks towards the ocean.
change affects me not
hiding away from the world.
stories here begin"
What am I?
besaid
oh god thats stupid and probably wrong but ill leave it
Actually it does sound right, Yuna`s journey begins there and it talks about the weather being sunny which it always seems to be in Besaid ;)Quote:

all alone - besaid is an almost isolated island
underneath the scorching sun - it is very hot there with its white sandy beaches
rivers run through me - relating to the large kind of lake there and the waterfalls
over rocks towards the ocean - also relating to the waterfalls
change affects me not - besaid is away from industrial expansion and advancements
hiding away from the world - also hidden as a small island
stories here begin - Yuna's story as a summoner begins from here
good first guess 'tailz'
Besaid is correct, but that's only half the riddle complete. Now you need to look for the other half to complete the answer.
im sorry but what do you mean with the other half i dont understand srry i could be just stupid
The solution to the riddle is in two halves - one half you solve by reading the words (which you have done to get Besaid) and the other half you solve by looking for implicit clues in the riddle itself.
is it Besaid Village?
well then i say besaid temple caus that is where the story really begins
The Besaid Ruins where you first fight kimarhi
Could the answer be Tidus at besaid - the words are describing besaid island physically - but because the riddle is in quotation marks it could also represent the inner feelings of a person emotionally.
I can imaging tidus saying that he is 'all alone' underneath the scorching sun when he is washed up on besaid beach
Rivers of emotion run through him flowing towards the ocean where he kind of knows that sin is out there linked with him.
Change doesn't affect him because he still retains his energetic personality
He is hiding away from most of the people on besaid - not revealing how he got there.
And this is where Tidus' journey really begins as well as Yuna's.
First half = physical description = Besaid
Second half = emotional/spiritual description = Tidus
Ultimate99997, that was a brilliant inference, but I'm afraid it is wrong, as are the other guesses. The quotation marks have nothing to do with it, that's jsut how I do my riddles. It was a good observation though.
The clue to the second half of the solution is much more obvious. Here's a clue if you want one: (SPOILER)The clue is at the beginning.
Good luck!
is it that praying stone on besaid island? - it seems to be alone in a large open area
I am totally lost
Wakka on Besaid because he has lost Chappu but thinks it's tidus
Sadly all wrong again. Try not to look at the words (they led to the first part of the snwer). Look more at how the riddle is structured, and keep in mind my previous hint.
its been a while since i played ffx, but wasn't there a besaid falls or something
It's the AUROCHS - the first letter of the lines going down from the beginning spell AUROCHS.....oh yeah!
omg he right
forest owl your a genius great riddle never even looked at that
Ultimate9997 has got it at last. Well done :D
Ta da........
"darkness dwells here night and day,
a drawn out journey to find the way.
two glyphs are needed to open the way,
at the end an item will lay."
what am I?
pretty easy one really!!!!
Does the Data thing going downwards have anything to do with the answer?
could you explain in more detail - what you mean by 'data thing'
Aha- So it does have something to do with the answer. No I don't know, but I noticed it and I was wondering...
Does it have anything to do with the Bevelle Temple?
Bevelle temple relations.................no
data thingy relations..................no
omega ruins??
nope - the 'what am I' is the item at the end of the riddle
The only items I can think of that you get at end of the Omega Ruins are the ones you get from the bosses. If this is the case then Door to Tomorrow, Lv 3 Key Sphere, Pendulum and Lv 4 Key Sphere are the answers. If not then are the Omega Ruins the right place?
try not to think of the end of omega ruins - instead focus on last two lines in more detail.
An Al bhed Primer?
unfortunately not
A Destruction Sphere
no
Kimarhi's spirit lance in the thunder plains
no - you're way off........let's just say.......ruins
Its Zanakend ruins...i believe but i cant remember what item it is....unless its the sun sigil?
wrong ruins and no
is it an aeon, possibly ifrit.i know its wrong
wrong.....sorry
Omega?
nope - ok, ok - the answer is an item
Are we talking about Baaj Temple here?
A key sphere?
no - not about baaj temple
no - not key sphere
Is it a sphere of any kind, cos I think ya can get a black mage sphere in the ruins?
ok - this is really gonna narrow it down.....it's a sphere.
uhm uhm uhm wasnt it a teleport sphere ??
YOU GOT IT tailz.......go ahead then.
just an explanation....
darkness dwells here night and day - obviously relating to the omega ruins
a drawn out journey to find the way - relating to the constant encounters in omega ruins causing you journey to the glyphs to be drawn out
two glyphs are needed to poen the way - meaning the path which requires two glyphs to be activated in order to be completed
at the end an item will lay - obviously the item at the end of the openable path - the teleport sphere.
I also mentioned earlier that the 'what am I' was actually the item at the end of the riddle.
like i said before someone else can take my turn im not that good at making riddles
nice ridle though it was a litle dificult very good
inside sin ???
I think the riddle has been solved!Quote:

Well done Ultima your go
I think i'll skip this go....next poster gets it.
"I am the man you want.
If you've an eye for a flutter.
I'm the entrepreneur,
And the man of your dreams.
I'm the man you want.
A man of many words.
My ways may put you off,
But give me a chance.
I'm the man you want.
I can help you out.
I'm always nearby,
But not always in person.
I'm the man you want.
A gate of oppurtunity.
Trust me, have faith,
And your frustations will be...dead!"
Tidus?
Err,Auron??
Nope.
Jecht???
Nada
maechen
Nein
Seymour?
Oaka, Rin?
It almost has to be Rin. The entrepreneurial suggestion matches him, and his shops are all over Spira, even if he's not present.
But Oaka goes just about everywhere you go.
Exactly. The "not always in person" would seem to remove O'aka from consideration. I could be wrong, but that's how I'm reading it.
O'aka not always being in person would refer to the period of time in which Wantz takes over (while O'aka is in jail).
Ifrit rocks is right. I deliberately made it so that you would instantly think it was O'aka, but inserted the 'not always in person' bit to prove it was not him.
To straighten things out:
I am the man you want. - Heh
If you've an eye for a flutter. - Flutter, as in 'gamble', or spending.
I'm the entrepreneur, - He is his own boss.
And the man of your dreams. - My inside joke. He is shown in FFX-2 with women around him.
I'm the man you want. - Meh
A man of many words. - He speaks Al Bhed.
My ways may put you off, - Al Bhed are looked down upon
But give me a chance. - Teh
I'm the man you want. - Feh
I can help you out. - He sells equipment.
I'm always nearby, - There are shops in many places
But not always in person. - But he is not always there.
I'm the man you want. - Err..Leh?
A gate of oppurtunity. - He sells some interesting stuff
Trust me, have faith, - Says itself
And your frustations will be...dead!" - You can beat bosses with his weapons.
Whose turn is it?
Masamune is right. It has to be Rin
It's Ifrit Rocks Oldskool's turn.
Here goes The man he used to be has changed warped by the dancing lights fight him thrice to disappear but his mark will linger forever ...
Seymour?
The only other person it could be is Jecht/Sin. But I go with Seymour.
Ultimate you got it again
Well take your turn then we have been waiting long enough
Ultimate hasn't been around for a while. Unless he posts next, next poster go.
Okay Old Manus I give you the next turn or free will to give it to however you see fit to give it to
Okay...*flexes fingers*
"I'm loyal till the end.
I never give up.
I travel with you,
but always just ahead.
A help or a hindrance.
The latter to many.
In great opposition
of the operation.
I can help you out though.
Just give me a shout.
I head the security,
In a world gone beserk."
seymour??
Kimari?
Nope.
Sin
Shelinda
O'aka XXIII?
Ifrit rocks is right. Again. *scans head for mind probe*
Lol here we go again The circle of flashes shall not harm you the beam will be a blessing for it will let you weild power
The celestial weopen upgrader in macalina woods.
Lets here it for the new guy!
Nope
The cloister of trials? compleating the cloister of trials will let you wield great aeon power! :D
More specifically, is it Djose Temple? Once you push all five pedestals into the walls the overhead ring flashes with lightning and leaves you with another pedestal in which you can place the Destruction Sphere, therefore 'weilding its power'.
No No and No
blitzball?
No
The thunder plains mini games? although you can get hit by the lightning it dosen`t hurt you and dodgin 200 gives sigil!
Good guess but no however you are in the right place
the quacter stones that u pray to and then you can get kimari`s celestial weapon!!!
Not exactly I need an event
Fight against dark Ixion?Quote:

Finally someone got it
Thanx but i`m terrible at makin riddles, so someone else can go!
"Here you will find me,
Though I will not be here.
My memories are told,
To those I hold dear."
-------------------------------
"An ever-lasting shape,
With an ever-changing nature,
You've never before seen,
Such a formidable creature."
-------------------------------
"Two paths here interwine,
An oath of loyalty sworn,
From the bottom of my heart,
A relationship is born"
The above three riddles are to be solved individually, and then a common link is to be found between them all. Each riddle may refer to an event/person/item, but I'm not saying which.
Enjoy!
I'm thinking summons and Anima.
I think that the first bit is relating to Jecht in macalania woods - the first jecht sphere u find.
The second bit is relating to spheroid - the boss you fight at the same place in macalania woods.
The third bit (i think) is about just outside luca where tidus and auron finally decide to officially join Yuna's journey. (not sure about this one though)
not sure of a common link though...
It's Macalania woods because the first part refers to Jecht in the sphere in macalania woods after fighting anphormous gel. the next part refers to the amphormas gel itself that you fight in macalania woods and the last part refers to the part where yuna and tidus are swimming in macalania woods ace.
I pretty sure that's right, Ifrit
It's Spherimorph, not Amourphusiwhatever Gel, by the way.

Inside the final place for everyone - the Farplane/Inside Sin
My guess for the common theme is 'death'.
i guess forestowl is right, because there aren't any places with the three things at the same timeand everithing is related to death so it may refer to the spiral of death.
I'd say the common link is "Sending" or "Pyreflies".
Well done abrojtm your turn
Hello we need a new riddle here
Forget it. Next poster go.
Not Cousin Nor nephew
Not Father Not Mother
