Why can't we have this election the same as last years, when you had parties with only 10 candidates with each running for several forums? It's better than looking for 30 candidates to fill the entire forums. :(

The main problem is that so many more people would miss out, and the elections should provide fun for all. I love the elections, and I love the new system.

Then, what about the parties that can't get more than 10 members? Do you even care about them?

Parties only need 8 members to stand, instead of last year's 10. Under the new rules, a party with eight could stand, but if we reverted back to the old rules which you want to, they could not.

Therefore, these are fairer at giving more people an opportunity to take part.

Heaven forbid, I think I agree with Psy on this one. :p This is only good for involvement.

I think last year's rules were more about providing a balanced final voting stage, and this one more about wider participation (Which is why Proto wants to revert back because he feels the fact that his party currently has less members than #eoff and BAoTW will be a hinderance - he should know that EB has something planned to balance that out :p)
