The letter E
Here's one from a long time ago. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody got it quickly, or if it's already been posted, but something's got to keep this going, especially considering the last two really lame ones.
Better than God
Worse than Satan
Rich people want it
Poor people have it
Ansem people did replied, even I made two guesses, though one non-serious...
Sasquatch: Happiness?
Ansem: Heart attack?
Dark Lady, Sassy was right with E... damned letter riddles.
Sassy: That was is 'nothing'.
Now stop getting sidetracked and attempt my riddle of doom! And it is not heart attack.
HINT: He died of a broken neck...
He was headbanging too hard?
To answer Sasquatch and leave the sole focus on Ansem's Riddle: Nothing. that is the answer now quit jumpin past Ansem's!
Good answer... but wrong.
HINT: He fell on his head.
he was dancing to the music and when it stopped he died?
I was thinking it was a heart monitor, which would make sense, but not if he broke his neck. Now I'm thinking he lost at "musical parachutes".
:chuckle:   :laugh:Quote:

The game was musical chairs. The music stopped, and the guy tried to sit down. However, someone pulled the chair back. His ass missed the chair and the back of his hit fell hard on the front of the chair. He broke his neck. :(
Okay, maybe this isn't a good riddle...
The answer is: he was a tightrope walker. He was blindfolded and walking the rope, listening to the music. When it stops, he is at the other side, or at least he is supposed to be. However, the music ends early and he bows while on the rope, thus falling and dying.
Someone just go... *withdraws*
A hint would have helped...
I give it another try...
Five paths cross ten times,
Bound by eternity they make a sign.
For those that make lead to gold,
It is mind over matter.
What am I?
I still think "musical parachutes" was better. :DQuote:

The insignia of FMA?
I never saw FMA, and plus my riddle is more general of an answer.
BTW Sasquatch the third line does refer to alchemist, but it is the line after it that tells you specifically what I am refering to.
Hint: Think of the type of thing the solution of my last riddle was...
teh sign for infinity?
I was thinking "bound by eternity" had something to do with the sign for infinity being thrown in there, but wasn't sure.
Not infinite, but the point that it was a symbol, and so is this answer.
Think what else can represent eternity...
... is it just me, or does Ansem have a picture of a penis in his sig?
Anyway. I'm thinking something about a circle? But that wouldn't really fit the rest of it. As in, you know, a circle just goes on and on around, like eternity, or whatnot. Hell, I dunno.
xD!!!!
Hmmmm is it a Star? 5 lines i think they cross ten times. Stars are usually gold?
a circle?
DNA?
There is no penis in my sig. That thing above the dark red energy ball is Yggdrasill's finger... though now you have given me naughty thoughts...
The Olympics. Five circles cross ten times in the Olymbic Logo, winners take gold.
Life in the Air, Death in the sea.
Death to the Land and the Air when used in multitudes
And still bringing joy to the children at sight.
Have at it folks
Ummm...no...That is not the answer.
If you put two members' post together and realize what it makes, then you have the answer.
So far, in the recent posts, we have star, circle, infinity, penis, and the double-helix of DNA. So what combination is it?Quote:

*shrug* The first time i read it i missed that it was "turns to" gold. if it had something to do with GETTING gold.... yeah, ridiculously easy. now? I aint even trying. lol
is it that crazy anarchy or satan symbol a star in a circle?
Since you are the closest, you got it.Quote:

The five paths part indicated the star.
Eternity bound meant the circle that encompasses it.
THe thing about the alchemist is as follows. In alchemy they also used the pentagram. Each point represented an element: earth, fire, water, air, and light (can be viewed as mind). In the upright pentagram the topmost point was designated to the element light. One could interpret the symbol representing mind (light) above the other four elements (matter).
I got no riddles soooooooooo someone else take err away! I just like to solve them........soooo riddle me!
You approach two talking doors. One door leads to the City of Truth, while the other door leads to the City of Liars. You do not know which door is which. You are able to ask only one question to determine which door is which. The door that leads to the City of Liars always speaks lies, while the door that leads to the City of Truth always speaks the truth. You want to go to the City of Truth. What question do you ask to determine which door leads to the City of Truth
Ask one of them "Which door would the other door say leads to the City of Truth?" If the door that only lies answers, he will lead you to the City of Liars; and if the truthful door answers, he will ALSO lead you to the City of Liars, since the question was "what would the OTHER say". In this case, you would take the door that the doors didn't lead you to.
Sweetheart, why did you go and tell it? I finally had it! *pouts*
My riddle now:
The path from the heavens
to crust
to core
Ridden by the greatest of lords
whose transportation I bore
What am I?
Lots of mythology here...
Because he was right more or less, and I hated to wait for a closer guess. So do not pout.Quote:

The core I assume has to do with the Underworld in which by tradition is entered through so sort of cave, or path way. Now also within the underworld we have pathways there too.
So now...*thinks* The Greatest of Lords would suggest the high god...I personally think yo uare refering to Odin's (Woden, Wodin, or however of the many ways you spell it) stallion whose name is...*looks it up* (Nordic is not my strong point)...Sleipnir...
Or I am being over analytical and you are simply referifng to messages. Iris was the messenger of the gods, especially that of Hera. And when she came to Earth a rainbow path did she make. Also Hermes, the other messenger of the gods, main of Zeus, also went to the Underworld to guide the souls of the dead.
So my guesses are:
Sleipnir, messages, or souls of the dead.
That was what I wanted you to think. It has nothing to do with rainbows or caves, and is a simple one-word answer. Sleipnir was a mode of transportation that bore Odin. The answer to this bore the transportation (here meaning The act or an instance of transporting), or in other words, held his journey. I should also add that Odin did this journey to obtain wisdom of the Great ______.
I will give better hints later... I wanna make you suffer.
Yggrdasil, it connected all the worlds...
See? Easy Yggdrasil connected Niflheim, Midgard and Asgard. Odin hung himself from the tree to obtain knowledge (why knowledge in death is a good thing is beyond me).
My other hint was going to be 'it's in my sig'.
I forgot the transcending symbol of a tree...I am most fimiliar with Greek Myth. Odin's actions do make sense, yet this is not the time or the place to talk about it.
If a rooster lays an egg on a hill, which way does it roll?
it doesnt Roosters dont lay eggs
yup
What did the chicken say to the human?
This is a riddle thread, not a lame-ass joke thread.
soooooooooo
i couldnt think of anything

the woman kill her own sister right?
She is her mother's sister. See her mother had a child to her father. Therefore when she was at her mother's funeral, she was also at her sister's funeral. There she met her father, and fell in love with him. She realizes that that is her father so she kills herself. When you say she kills her sister, you mean she kiled her mother's sister, which would be herself.
If she falls in love with him, she wants to see him again. She figures if he knew her mother, he'll know her sister, and she can see him again at her sister's funeral.Quote:
