With every 'Ciddies' that occurs the significance of them becomes much less and they become less special in my opinion. Members get more Ciddies that they can do with. I remember observing the threads of the Ciddies during winter 2001 way back when, and I can't remember specifics but I do remember that it was a more merry and gay occasion than the more recent ones. I miss those days. :cry:

I have a question for you award guy. Do you feel any sence of loss since taking over the Ciddies from Dr Unne? Before, you were just one of us nominating and voting in mystery. Now you might not feel the anticipation involved in the awards so much. Especially during the award ceremony.
For one, I wasn't around for Unne's ones, although BoB was. But no, I love the Ciddies, and I think smittenkitten and whoever else has seen me during Ciddies time would say "visibly excited" would be an accurate description for how I get. I love these things, to me, they're the highlight of the EoFF calendar. It's a real thrill watching things unfold - although it does take up a massive amount of time.
I have seven speeches sent in so far, and thirty-one of the speeches have been confirmed with various presenters, but I'm still needing more, so I encourage people to get involved.
