Anyone up for a practice battle? I'd like to try my team out and see how I do. I've never done competitive battles against human players before other than with my brothers way back in Pokemon Yellow (the best version).

p.s my team isnt at lvl 50 yet, and i dont believe the lvls get upgraded for the battle?

You are advised to complete your training and preparations at the earliest possible opportunity. Should you have any questions about how to raise them, Tournament Staff will remain on hand to answer for the remainder of the Training Phase.

The Battle Phase structure will be explained in a new thread a day or two before matches begin. Good luck to all contestants, and remember to have fun!

As long as we play with the Normal rules, pokemons that are below level 50 will still be at 50 during the games, so you only really need to level up far enough to get all the moves you want and for evolutions etc.

Thus, EV training is more important than getting all pokemons to 50+. :greenie:
