Ivory Coast and Portugal were both awful, at least you expect NZ v Slovakia to be poor and North Korea were always going to be defensive tonight (plus they are defensive generally), but Portugal and Ivory Coast have an abundance of talent and seemed happy to play for a bore draw even though a win would go a long way to helping them avoid Spain in Round 2.
I can't believe North Korea was even allowed to have a team, yet they are keeping up with Brazil.

Best goal of this World Cup so far was probably the first one anyway. And who cares if they call it soccer. Well obviously you do, but frankly they can call it whatever they want.
Still rate Tshabalala or Podolski's above that one! It did look like a bit of a fluke. And a goalkeeper shouldn't be beaten in that situation anyway.
But it looked fantashtic.
