Yeah, tommen is the prize now, though the lawful monarch has always been Dany or if not her then Stannis.

I said it in the other thread: I'd still rather see Dany on the Iron Throne than Stannis.
Cersei has to mary Loras so when the father dies Loras gets Highgarden, and through marriage it also falls in the hands of the Lannisters.
and the throne depends on how you look at it.
danny becaus it was her family who's throne got taken.
or Stannis, becaus he is Roberts heir becaus Cersei's kids are bastards
smurf stannis
thats shocking to hear from you

meeh, i should stop posting things like this.. but i wont
I felt so many emotions whilst watching episode 2. Whilst I hated Joffrey, I will miss having him around to hate. Excellent acting from Jack Gleeson from the beginning to the end of his time on GoT. It's a shame he's giving up his acting career, but I figure he would be typecast as a bad guy for all eternity.
I watched the episode with people who haven't read the books and none of them picked up on the clues on the killers identity.
I'm really looking forward to the next episode and the aftermath. :excited:
(SPOILER)I'm guessing Shae didn't leave on the ship. When Tyrion was grilling Bronn, he did not confirm that he actually watched the ship leave - infact, he appeared to deflect the question. So he got her on the boat, but didn't actually see the boat leave...Or didn't get her on the boat at all - after all, he's a sellsword and Cersei and Tywin both have gold, too. And Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Perhaps we could have the same ending for her after all?

this summary is also pretty nice
re: and also possible future episode spoilerNot only that, Tywin leaned to Cersei and said she wanted Shae brought to his chambers. Obvious foreshadowing for folks who have read the books.
I doubt they'll be marrying anyone to anyone until they find out who's responsible for King Joffrey's death. At least, I would think. I know Cersei already pointed the finger at Tyrion and there's a trial coming but I like to think Tywin is much too smart to rule out the possibility that someone else was responsible for this. Especially considering the list of people who'd want Joffrey dead could fill up the sky, though the list of people who had the means to poison him at the time not so much. I'd use the trial as a front to make the real murderer think I'm off their trail.
Or maybe I'm giving Tywin too much credit because he's one of my favorite characters.
Except that pretty much everyone wants Tyrion dead, and here's the easy way to do it.
Who else wants to see Dany versus Stannis for the Iron Throne?
No. smurf Stannis. I seriously think he's the worst character on the show/in the books. I don't even want him as an option. If we don't get a Dany and Jon Snow ending, this series has been for nothing.
