1,040 is close.
1050?? 1060?? 1048??
No, that's going the wrong way. There are less than 1,000 steps.
As a reminder here are the current questions as they stand
Q1: What is ShinRa's phrase of the week?
Q2: What is the total number of steps in the ShinRa Building staircase?
well, cause 8 is a binary number, i would randomly guess.....1024
8 steps per flight x 2 flights per floor x 59 floors= 944 steps.
That's how I did it, but aren't there 65 floors in the shinra building?
then 1008... right?
not right. 8x2x65=1040
There are more floors than 59, but that endless back staircase despoits you on the 59th floor.
But isn't the president's office at the top floor, ie the 65th? The floors run all the way up

o geez, this is pointless...
Guys, it's only the number of steps in the immediate staircase you go up to the 60th floor on.
But you don't have to necessarily multiply by 59 as going up the staircase is not relevant to the 59 floors, I think. You don't actually go up 59 floors in theory, it is just many screens of stairs.
