Any thing to do with the climb you first make at Gaea's Cliffs?

No not climbing the cliffs, but yes to the in control of (cloud, tifa, or cid) part. Its a small task you have to do like climbing the cliffs in order to progress.

And just so no one has to back track for the riddle its:

At first I ignore, but then I implore.
And when you return in the morn, my rival I scorn.

Also, to narrow the gap of minimal tasks throughout the game, I'll go ahead and say it involves being in control of Cloud at the time.

:laughs to self: Interesting.... As being in control of Cid or Tifa would have drastically narrowed it down.

I'm going to wager that it has nothing to do with the Gold Saucer games (snowboarding, bike escape, etc.).... am I right?

For some reason, I think the answer deals with Johnny in the Midgar Slums...... Don't know why.

I think Johnny is the red head dude you run into later in the game, if thats who you're talking about then no nothing to do with him.

I think so... Here: Johnny - The Final Fantasy Wiki has more Final Fantasy information than Cid could research (for both of our sake's...)
