Is it the materials you need, and the process of creating a Crystal Crown?
I think the first three paragraphs refer to the enemies you need to defeat in order to get the materials, (Wyvern=Power Crystals, Defender=Bright Crystals, Darkball=Lucid Crystals, Wizard=Shiny Crystals)
...while the last tells of how you need to bring the materials to the moogle shop to make the Crystal Crown (Royal Kings Treasure.).
Just so you can see my full reasoning...

The ones with wings will help you,
But the four crystals you shall seek - The moogles will make it if you bring them some Power, Bright, Shiny and Lucid Crystals
Three will fly above you
And one stays on the ground - The Wyvern, Wizard and Darkball all fly, while the Defender stays on the ground.
One of them might blow you up - Either the Wizards Meteor-like spell, or the Darkball exploding
Another will swoop down - The Wyvern often attacks by swooping down from above

For the aegis will not only repel,
But also,it may kill - The Defender repels all attacks from the front with his shield (which he can also attack with).
After the pieces are retrieved,
Bring your luster to the winged ones - Once you have enough materials, bring them to the moogles, and...
If you have completed your right task,
You shall own a royal king's treasure - ...they can make you a Crystal Crown, which is an extremely useful accessory.
