Who loves 8-bit theatre?

When I tried to read thur's comic ( 163 ), I got only the top half of the comic and at the bottom of that there was an inch of what looks like static on a TV. Anyone know why that happened? Help! I'm missing the hilarity! :mad:

Refreshing a couple times should work. It didn't load the picture all the way in your browser, seems like.

Yeah, I'd tried to refresh a lot, but I had to delete my temporary internet files so it would load a fresh page, not the stored one! Thanks.....and I guess fighter isn't TOO stupid, what with knowing how to write haikus........

There was no "Corneria" either. That's poetic license for you.

I believe he's taking things from Ragnarok Online now. However, the Knight's guild was moved to Izlude (another city in RO) a long time ago. Poor Fighter. xD

I used to like 8-Bit theater, but around the time when the four when to save princess Sara at Garland's castle, it just started getting too weird. I don't really read it anymore, because it's too weird for it to be funny to me, but the old episodes were really funny and I loved them. It's kinda sad to me though. When webcomics get too weird to be funny, it's the end for me. I've seen it happen to The Jar

What do you mean? That really was the first city's name.

And I suppose Prontera was supposed to be the port city where you get the BOAT? Or maybe it was the desert on the way there....

Anyone want to start a pole on just how many chapters it will take them to get that far. I'll go for a low number and say 40 more chapters.

Well, I just loaded the game to look and the woman right at the entrance actually says "Coneria" not "Corneria".

Corneria is just an alternate translation, I'm sure. A lot of people refer to Coneria is Corneria, so it has some weight.

EDIT:
The Imps in #168 are chanting "Hoona Igna Chowa Neha!" as seen in the Space Ghost Coast-to-Coast episode "Fire Ant!" That is so bloody awesome. *rocks out*

I actually emailed him when he made the first comic in Coneria and spelled it Corneria. He said he spells it that way on purpose. Not sure why.

I think that episode in the Cave was among the best so far. I guess we'll be meeting Matoya soon.

Somehow I think he's gonna do some weird joke about broomish and fighters stupidity.
