No, it's not time for another hint yet. I think there's something else in the riddle that virtually gives it away anyway.

is it cid when u first meet him

It isn't the Dice Limit Break, though meeting Cid is (technically) mentioned in the riddle. However, it's not relevant, as it refers to the alternative to what the answer actually is.

Hmm, Cid joining your party is a big tipoff, so it sounds like either Temple of the Ancients, or Black Materia, or the Keystone. Or it might have something to do with Wutai.

"Curiosity killing the cat" doesn't refer to Cait Sith sacrificing himself, but actually refers to the famous idiom; in this case it relates to Cait Sith's curiosity getting to him.

"Else hold on until you are nine" does refer to Cid joining the party, so you wanna look for something that can be done before Cid joins.

I'm guessing that refers to Cait Sith joining your party because of his curiosity of the fortune he gives cloud... but I can't connect it with anything so bah!!! ><;

What else does Cait Sith bring to the party and how can you use it?

he brings a transform materia with him and another materia too i think. i can't remember the armour he has, is it a silver bangle?

I think it is a silver bangle, yeah. & the other materia he is equipped with is Manipulate.

But... I can't even guess this one! It's harder than Rantzien's.

So anyways, it's not the buggy is it? I tried to explain my reasons... but then... well some of them didn't fit. But I'm still gonna guess the buggy. :D
