Indeed.
"Sara ni tatakau monotachi" has been unofficially translated with many names since the soundtrack's release, simply because Square never gave the tracks English names themselves. "Still More Fighting" was apparently the most popular choice along with "Again the People Fight" which is a more literal translation, and similar names given to fan versions like "Fight On" at Overclocked Remix (which by the way is awesome, go listen to it if you ain't already), and Babelfish's hilarious "Furthermore Fighting ni People".
They were all way off: When "The Black Mages" was released, it was confirmed as "Those Who Fight Further".
What I'm getting at is that "Sara ni tatakau monotachi" is its only name in a certain tongue (Japanese) but has gone by like a zillion names in English. As for the wording of the riddle, I made sure to include the words "fight", "still", "further" and so on.
Thought it'd be nice to do a riddle based on what is far and away my favourite piece of video game music of all time.
Anyways BG-57, it's your turn.

Wow.
I would have never guessed that, except by elimination. It reminds of the Triple Triad riddle where I just listed every card that hadn't been guessed and then tried one after another. Someone else got the answer, but I managed to lay the groundwork at least. :p
Here we go:
Follow the breadcrumbs
Into the deep dark woods
Not to grandma's house
But some well deserved R&R
-
the "follow the breadcrumbs" and "some well deserved R&R" make me think of the variety of things u have tod o in wall market to get to the honey bee inn. soo i'm gonna guess it'sw the wal mart mini-mission?
-
It's nothing to do with Wall Market.
-
is it the path u have to travel from bone village to the city of the ancients (the anciednt forest i guess)
Follow the breadcrumbs --> to find the harp u have to use the staff of bone village
Into the deep dark woods --> ancient forest
Not to grandma's house
But some well deserved R&R --> after a long trip u rest in the house at the city of the ancients but its somewhere uver never been before so it's not somewhere u recognise (e.g grannys house)
-
^ Ooh, that's a good guess!
I can't believe how rubbish I am at these.
-
Indeed it is a good guess, but sadly not the correct one.
You're using the right approach with line 2.
-
Exsuse me but what are you talking about so can you teal me please.

Welcome aboard to EoFF! :)
Riddle Threads 101
These riddle threads are essentially the same in every forum:
1) A riddle is posted, relating somehow to the game (in this case FFVII).
2) Everyone else tries to guess what the riddle is about, be it person, place, or thing.
3) The riddle poster generally provides feedback (at the very least whether guesses are correct or incorrect). Hints are sometimes provided by the poster, but it's not required.
4) The first person to correctly solve the riddle gets the option to post their own riddle. If they refuse to, then the next riddle can be posted by anyone on a first-come first-served basis. Which leads you back to step 1).
It's very important to know that only one riddle is allowed to be posted and solved at a time. If the poster is being slow with feedback you can amuse yourself with side riddles, but they are not part of the riddle chain in any way shape or form.
Right now the riddle is mine since I sucessfully solved the last one by ReloadPsi.

if the 2nd line is the ancient forest then it stands to reason that the 1st line is something that occurs before it. i'm gonna guess thats clouds dreams which lead him there. i can't think of a situation that fits the 3rd line, is it meant to be literally translated? i.e. one of ur party has a grandma but it's not her place ur going to?
-
I should clarify:
Line 2 is not referring to the Ancient forest, but a forest is involved.
Line 3 is not meant to be read literally.
-
R&R means Rest and Relaxation or something?
Follow the breadcrumbs --> the balloons in the snowboard track, or just the snowboard track itself, you have to follow it.
Into the deep dark woods --> there's a forest at the end of the track
Not to grandma's house
But some well deserved R&R --> They faint and wake up in a cabin
-
Normally yes. But in this case they stand for two other words that start with the letter R.
-
is "R&R" supposed to be translated literally then? so you go somewhere where you obtain 2 items both beginning with "R"?
-
Basically yes. There is only one item to get but R&R are related.
