I was actually beginning to doubt whether they'd add Sonic or not, but I've not really been actively keeping up with the news other than checking this thread every now and again. Looks like a nice addition, though I'm still hoping that they bring more characters back from SSB:M. I'd be fairly disappointed if they removed Roy and Marth, for instance and Ganondorf too. Obviously he's essentially a slower, more powerful Captain Falcon but I enjoyed using both.

Ganondorf has been unofficially confirmed, as has Shiek. The character designer for the Zelda games announced that he'd worked on their designs for Brawl. The link is somewhere in this thread, I think.

I'm glad Sonic made it in.

The one character I never thought would make it into a Smash Bros. game when the original came out.

The Sonic Dash, and Super Sonic as his final smash. Ah, the memories...

Also, I loved that his introduction was him running over Mario. :D

They actually obeyed the requests to put Sonic in? I guess he's better than Snake. But I'm still against it though.

I do admit that that movie (the one without Sonic in it) was really impressive. I even liked how they showed some things that they didn't even update yet (like Kyorgre and Torchic and some stages).

Also, what was with those combined taunts? At least that's what they looked like.

I laughed when I saw that Sonic was in it, especially after remembering VG Cats =P I don't really care who's in Brawl, as long as they make for fun fights~
