Technically Esna is the correct pronunciation. The word is a portmanteau from three other words put together (Eikyu, Sutētasu, and Naoshi" that roughly translates to "Eternal Status Cure" when put together. Esna comes from taking the first letter of each word, but because the Japanese alphabet doesn't have a character that represents S by itself, it's replaced with the kana for Tsu/su so when it got translated to english, the U stayed.Quote:
