UK Meet-Up 2006

Well I'm in Dorset, thats not far from Sussex.

Curses, I have no shiny digital camera, nor am I likely to get one before the meet-up. No I'll just be bringing cheapo disposable one. It's odd but my family's just never been that into taking pictures. Well, we do but we've just never invested in a proper camera, we've just used dispoables for years.
Oh well, I'll try and use my film up during the day, otherwise if I take any at night they'll all just be rubbish anyway, plus everyone will have red-eye.

That would be an awesome idea. I could possibly get to Birmingham, but as I'm 16 (le wah) I wouldn't be able to stay overnight or anything. So...

But, organising a Southern meet-up would be pretty cool. Although, like in this thread, I suppose I'd need to find hotels and stuff, huh? Unless it's just a Southern People UK Meet-Up.

Out of interest, how many others are in the South of England (Say, Hampshire or Sussex area)? O.O

I'm more or less in the middle, well, less than more actually, Pererborough is in the East of England, not too far from london (only about 100 miles) So if we wait till late summer, how about a London meetup? There are plenty of places there, and since it's the capital, everyone can get there. Personaly, I'm happy to travel to any part of the UK for a meetup, just as long as i have the funds and time to go.

w00t! I have a friend coming to the meet-up. Hope y'all dont mind? Whats that? yes! I DO have a friend, a bona fide FRIEND. Uh-huh, in no way a paid actor.

She's going to Canada to live with her boyfriend (who she incidentally met online) on the 19th of april, and she doesnt live far from Birmingham, (45 mins on the train) so I asked if she could make it and she said yup she'd love to. I've kept meaning to try and see her before she goes and this seemed like a good opportunity. She's called Ruth and she's a big nerd just like all of us so she'll fit in fine! Also I will have someone to play TS3 with! we PWN (yes PWN) ts3, specially the zombie levels.

Anywho, hope no-body minds, Does anyone mind? I asked her if she wanted to stay the night at the same time as saying 'really sorry but you cant really'. It'd be nice if she could stay but she's 1) probably way too busy anyway and 2)it's a bit too late.

P.S I believe she likes Tekken.

Woohoo finaly some good things are happening, I get my new PC today along with Elder Scrolls IV, I'm going to a party next week and we will all be meeting in 2 weeks!
