I'm posting in this thread to tell you all why Rafael Benitez is the best manager in the Premiership. No, it's not because he's won the Spanish league, or indeed the Champions League.
It is because of his socks. Legend.
He's making himself very unpopular with Blackburn fans, as, not content with snapping up Bellamy, he is currently attempting to sign Lucas Neill.
It's a good thing Hargreaves won't be signing for Man United, as I was just beginning to like him.

I'm pleased that neither Arsenal nor Manchester United have managed to sign a gritty defensive midfielder, which makes Mascherano signing for West Ham all the more hilarious.
In other news, the most tedious summer transfer saga has come to an end, with Ashley Cole signing for Chelsea, with William Gallas going the other way. Arsenal were beginning to look a bit sparse on the French front, with the exits of Cygan and Pires.

Yes I mourn the loss of Antoine, well I did. I went to the mcfc website to read about his departure and the first thing I saw was "City get Beasley" and I forgot all about the french slaphead :spin:

Also the whole Ashley Cole thing has only been drawn out so long so that now no one gives aanymore and the Arsenal fans won't harass him.
