Yeah the deviations are too subtle and gradual so far. It seems like they are toying with making it their own but not willing to go balls out. Well, they'll have to soon enough because Martin sure as hell isn't going to wrap these books up within a year or two.
It drives me bananas that he does not look like he could be Sandor's big brother.

I felt conan stevens did look more like him though. Too bad that character went through so many actors!

I initially thought this was Jon Snow and Ygritte, but then read the caption as Severus Snape and Lily Potter fanart, and then Sherlock and Molly fanart. I still think it applies and that it looks like Jon + Ygritte the most because he held her in that exact way :colbert:
