Africa, Australia, Asia, South America, North America, Europe and Antarctica are continents. A continent is a large landmass. Just because an ocean or body of water is under jurisdiction or the maritime law of a specific country or continent does not make that body of water, itself, a part of the continent. Hey Spammerman.

As far as I know, both ligers and tigons are only bred in captivity and the rumors of them existing in the wild are improbable. Therefore, since any zoo can breed both the liger and tigon, they are not really specific to any country.
