Mostly villians and people who don't know him call him The Batman because he's sort of an urban legend or an enigma to them. I compare it to WWE Superstar The Undertaker. When people refer to him, they say The Undertaker. But when someone is talking to him, the simply call him Undertaker. Personally, I call him Batman.
Batman has been stalking me ever since I lost my Batman Action figure. I think he's jealous because I still have my joker action figure. :p
