You made 5 posts one after the other and from this I can assume that you didn't read the rules. I sugest you do it before Leeza finds you. :p
Yes, please don't post multiple times in a row, DM. Instead use the edit button in the lower right corner of the post you want to edit, if there's anything you have forgotten to add.
I merged your posts.:joker:
Hello Melissa and welcome to EoFF.
Sorry! I know this is a bad excuse but it's true....I've been on the phone most of the afternoon with different people ringing me and I just wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. :(
I'll be more careful next time.
Hello!
And thank you.
Don't worry about it, we've all been there. ;) Did a lovely triple post when I first joined myself. :greenie:
Welcome New Person! :D I am also from the UK, but I live in Scotland. Nowhere near you, eh? :P Everyone here mocks me for being Scottish. ;_; So, I understand your pain of being called a carrot cruncher. I guess. xD
Anyway, have fun at EoFF!

Don't trust any of them. I am the only sane one here...
Ok, I'd managed to change my settings somehow. Now I can see them!Quote:
I can't see the latest replies for some reason. :(

It's usually the accent I find. Somehow, the accent of most sailors seems very similar to that of Norfolk.
We end up leaving the pronunciation of certain letters out of words, like:
* Hadn't/havent - hant (and not pronouncing the t properly if at all)
* Wouldn't - woont
* Isn't - int
* Didn't - dint
Extras:
* Home - hoom
* right- roit
* alright - a'rite
* What's that - whassat
It's a funny old world.
