He's probably the Totema of a new race, maybe the Seeq race or Cid's race (if his race will be playable). But we know there will be new races playable, together with new jobs. And those races need a Totema.

First, seeing as FFXII players already know what a Seeq is, there would be no harm in showing a Seeq in either a screen or the trailer, so i don't think they'll be in it, and Cid (expect for the long nose) seems to be a Hume.


5. Just after that bit, it looks like there may be a glimse of a new race. Im not sure, but there is what seems to be a fat moogle with a blade on is head speaking (you can see his portrait). I dunno if thats just a deformed member of an existing race, or a monster or what, i just thought i'd point it out.

Cid really isn't a hume. He looks more like those things that always escorted Marquis Ondore, a Rebe.

And about point 5, that was a Seeq, me thinks. The interview did say they would be adding new races. I think you overlooked it.

Yes, i know. I think you may have misunderstood me. What they say in the interview is that (if you take the text literally) there will be Jobs from FFXII, and some new races (not nessicarally from FFXII). So what i meant when i said:

Um, FFXII doesn't have a job system. It does, however, have several new races: The Rebes, the Seeq, the Urutan-Yensa (not exactly a good race, but...

I hope that Hashmal is a Totema. I just hope that all the Espers show up as Totema. I want to summon Zodiark. :)

BTW, will FFTA2 support any form of linking with FFTA? Say, if you have FFTA2 in the DS slot and FFTA in the GBA slot, you can trade items and maybe characters across..?

Actuyally, in International they do have jobs.

Anyway, Hashmal kinda looks like a Garif... Maybe it'll be their Totema?

As the wihte wizard pointed out, in the International version of the game, there are differant Licence boards for each job. I don't know if thats what they meant in the interview, but it would seem so.

Seeq and Rebes seem like likely candidates for the new races.

What is the release date for FFTA2? I'm sick of waiting.
