Apples

I like baked apples, candy apples, apple cider and juice, and the smell of apples :jess:

^ only for red apples though...never tried golden ones and green are too sour for me :(

I like lots of apples. I eat an apple pretty much every day.

My favorite ways to eat apples are with cheddar cheese, caramel, salt, peanut butter, or in sauce form mixed with cottage cheese.

I once bit into an apple and a worm came out. :( I threw the apple away.

However, doesn't mean I stopped biting into an apple. Just not raw apples straight from a tree. :D

Hmm ,my preferred varieties of apple are Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Pink Lady, Braeburn and Cox's apples, the type where you can hear the pips rattle if you shake it. I even eat the core, and sometimes even the stalk if I can't be bothered twisting it off. Pure red apples I don't like as I find them too mushy. Also, I will always polish off the apple sauce as 'dessert' if there's any left after roast pork (but only my mum's home made stuff, not that crap you get in the jars... :mad:)

I'm not a fan of apple juice, as the only varieties you can get are those awful concentrated stuffs. However, I do like cider, the fizzier the better (e.g. Strongbow, Woodpecker, draught Scrumpy Jack). I have been known to drink proper 8% scrumpy (regular cider is only about 4-5%)! I got totally rat-assed after two pints! Those days are loooong gone now, and I'm kinda glad! :)

Fun fact of the day: Apples give off a certain type of gas when chilled that actually causes flowers to wilt faster. So you can't store flowers in a refrigerator with apples.

I love apples. I had one at breakfast today. :)

I love granny smith apples. Especially the small firm ones. Their sourness is just so sweet! I imagine that it is like how eating citrous with Miracle Fruit would be.

All apples need to be sent to a nuclear waste dump...

I hate any variation of the apple, in everything from juice to candy.

Apples are good. But only the green ones.
