Odd, I've actually thought a bit about this over the years.
I always thought I was the only one to ponder it.
Anyway, I say leave em on. I don't want my leg scratched by an errant toenail and afterwards women are always cold and want to put icy feet on you.
A girl looks cute in socks and nothing else.
It's kind of sexy too as the covered feet emphasize the nakedness of the rest of her, thus making her appear extra-naked.

seriously, sometimes you have sex "fully" clothed, so having socks on sometimes is no big deal. Hasn't anyone had/been a girl on a guys lap in a skirt?

I honestly do not care. My girl has a few socks that make her feet look rather cute or dainty, but nothing sexual - nor sexually displeasing.
I don't find feet sexually appealing in any form or fashion, so there is no reason for me to care whether or not she is wearing socks. She shares the same feelings on this subject.
Fishnet stockings on the other hand...

In a bed, no. Actually, I don't care, but my girlfriend does, and her word is law. So no. I did so once and suffered the consequences. Actually, I didn't. She didn't even know until a week or two later when I told her. But when you are naked except for socks, it is weird.
Clothed sex is different though. Sometimes, the socks just aren't important.
sex with socks sound weird, but when you're doing it you wont think if you are wearing socks!...I guess lol
