Last time I check Valadictorians are decided by grades... what happened?

Yeah at my school class president weren't always the popular kids though, if you wanted to be the popular loved well known kid in school you were after the homecoming positions. Like, My student council prolly had 30 people so no one cared about those positions, my -class- had 900 people in it so it's like 30 people to vote on Class president and 900 people to vote on homecoming queen and king. :razz:Quote:

My valedictorian was elected from the top 5 students of the class. Some voted for who they thought would do best, others for friends, others to see if the person would fudge up, then some who voted based on academic standings. Incidentally the person who won was the top of the class, in other words me. Our graduating class president was the second highest ranking student as well as salutatorian.Quote:
