The Fanatics boss can also be beaten by Rasp, I've heard. I've never tried it since Rasp takes off so little MP... and he has around 50000 MP... and 50000 HP.

If you MP kill him, he'll still use Ultima though.
MP killing is retarded anyway, sans against Skull Dragon v2.
