Queen Elizabeth the Second (of England, for those who live under a rock), and Iggy Pop (some singer/songwriter dude). And of course, moi. And some guy called Don Cornell was born, and I thought it was worth mentioning since it looks like "Don Corneo". And Princess Isabella of Denmark was born this year.
Oh. And on April the 21st, 753 BC, Romulus and Remus founded the city of Rome.
Peter Frampton, whose line of work I am not familiar with, so I divert attention from that fact. A pope, too. It's also Earth Day. Mmm.
Some Rastafarian Movement day is on my birthday.

No deaths that really stood out either, but it appears Sept. 24 1988 was when Ben Johnson set a 100m record of 9.79 seconds only to be disqualified for doping after.
