I wonder if this is what Jack Thompson means when he mentions the bad effects that video games have on people?

well, now that I think about it, it is circle (*still doesn't have her controller's layout memorized ;D* I was thinking 'one right of X' xD) but it seems like guides always refer to triangle. MAYBE I IMAGINED IT? :D

It's triangle in seven and nine, X in six (the X button on a SNES controller is in the same place as triangle) and circle in eight. That's the exception.

does the default controller set up in ff8 have X as the action button? Or was that 7 that was weird? Or both or more?

it seems like they change the cancel button every FF.. its confusing
