I don't mind them being machines or digital. Having them transform into everyday objects kinda bothers me cause its pretty cheesy in my opinion. If it makes you feel better, I wasn't a fan of Ark in IX either...

Seriously,we don't know yet if the rest of the summons will also have the ability to transform and even if they do,i don't think the developers will make something that looks out of place or "ridiculous" with the rest of the game.But it's all speculation at this point.

So long as they look cool and pull it off.

IT is all fun and fiction any ways, the more extreme of both the better. I escape life with FF 13, I do not waste time bitching in life about any final fantasy game because when played they all have been fun and I welcome the absence of reality oh so much and I cant wait to ride on Shiva's back.
