I should've bumped yours, except I was oblivious. It's okay, mozilla deserves two threads!
that's funny, dan; I downloaded the beta in like january and loved it! I guess they cancel out!
anyways, azar, there's not really any difference from the RC3; I've heard they're the exact same, which is kinda lame for us who have been faithfully betaing, but good for everyone else because that means that this is pretty stable, unlike how some websites are suggesting xD
I signed up for the email reminder so I downloaded it today. :P The only differences I've noticed are that it's not compatible with a bunch of my extensions and there's no little "go" butten next to the address bar. Oh, and it looks different, but I usually use a custom theme anyway.
My furigana injector doesn't work anymore. This blows.
I have a home button. Now that I think about it, you have to do something weird to get it, but I don't remember what xD It obviously wasn't difficult though!
Yeah, there's definitely a Home button. Plus you can add/remove any of those buttons by right-clicking the area and going to "Customize."
Google Toolbar works again! Awesome :D That's the one thing I really missed in the betas and RCs.
No it doesn't you fangirl!Quote:

I meant I don't want to switch from whatever Firefox I have now, not I don't want to switch in general.
The "Check for updates..." keeps timing out on me. I'll keep trying that but I'm too lazy to do any more work to update my Firefox.
According to something of theirs (the email or FAQ, can't remember), they disabled the Update mechanism for today to force people to download the full thing so that it counts towards the record.
Yes, I do hate Firefox. When I downloaded it in its early days it basically broke a lot, and I refused to trust it ever since.
Well I lie, I've since tried it again but it was still slower than every other browser I was running (hello Opera).
I like Opera because unlike a certain other browser it doesn't compel me to be a pompous wanker who thinks he's better than everyone else for using Opera, and I don't come out with pretentiouslike "my browsing experience is better". smurf your Firefox fan community, it's a piece of smurfing software, not the presidential candidate. In fact I only started using it because this site stopped working on Internet Explorer AND Firefox all of a sudden, and I couldn't post, so I had to try an alternative. It's since started working again, but I'm so used to Opera now that I just click it instinctively instead of IE.
Oh, and speed dials own everything.
Anyway, any word on how the record attempt actually went?
