Definitely Sephiroth, Terra and Cecil. They are so cool. I have some videos on youtube with them , but I really want to do some Ad hoc matches with somebody soon. I'm playing non-stop with Sephiroth, so I want to test my strength.
But Bartz, Firion and Kuja are great as well. And I was really impressed how fast characters like the Onion Knight, Zidane or Jecht are.
But the fastest is X-Death, of course. Lol.
I chose the Warrior of Light and Garland.

In addition to the various characters I love who are showing up in this game, I'm actually really looking foward to playing Emperor Mateus. From what I've seen of gameplay videos, the game has a really excellent balance of ranged and melee characters, which is unusual for most of the fighting games I've seen, and I'm looking forward to seeing how everything will work out. And Emperor's focus on traps and heavy hitting spells should be a fun way to try it.

you know my favorite final fantasy was IX so i voted for Zidane and Kuja but i am surprised that Zidane was currently the highest one ppl want to play. When I took it he had 15 votes or 30%. I thought that Terra or Kefka would be at the top.

Golbez, I just read the plot thing on him. It's cool.

I played this on a friends PSP today. Ultimecia is indeed fun to mess around with :3
I've made my official choice based on a previous post. I'll play through first as Onion Knight, Sephiroth, and Squall, just to see if they're as bad as they've been supposed.Where is offered proof of datingship with the Tifa-ness? AFYI, Cloud was obsessed over Tifa because he was never able to save her and she's his closest childhood friend. Doesn't mean they have to date. imma have to say Jecht just because you get to play as his son why not play as him
Terra is my favorite FF Protaginist, so I'd love to play as her.
Zidane is my favorite ff protagonist.
