Wizardry V, because smurf the SNES.
Haha I remember that game. :D
I think playing some obscure game would be fun. There's only so many times I can play Super Mario World, Crono Trigger, Donkey Kong, Secret of Mana and Zelda games.
I'd vote for Moonwalker and Act Raiser atm, but I'm very open for suggestions, will be fun playing a game I haven't played before. Like Kid Icarus maybe. I don't know anything about that game though, so I don't know if it would be any fun.
You mean an obscure game like Threads of Fate, Levian :>D?

:p
Aww, come on! We can see who can manage to get past at least three stages. Freaking DOJ. :p
Fine then, EoFF plays Perfect Cherry Blossom Phantasm Stage! I've almost beaten it... :D
Of the games on that poll, TMNT: Turtles in Time, Castlevania 4, and Seiken Densetsu 3 really stick out as games that other EoFFers should play. As for other games, well, they're games that everyone knows about and I'd be lame for naming them because they reveal my inability to look deeper than main-stream video gaming, and that's a big no-no.
However, of the cool "I bet no one here has played it!" games I've played, I really enjoyed the game Trilby's Notes, a part of the Chzo Mythos. However, I mostly want other people to play it to see if they get into the frightened mood as much as I did, or if I'm actually just a wuss. You see, Trilby is paranoid of something, and when he gets really scared, he gets transported to a terrible world where the "Tall Man" resides, and he attempts to kill Trilby at multiple points in the game during these points. Trilby also has a tendency to hallucinate, and write "ithurts" in his diary for no apparent reason. :p Anyway, people here should play it. It's neat-o.
Edit: Oh, also, I've found myself enjoying the Turbografx-16's library of games quite a lot since it has appeared on the Wii's VC. In particular, I really enjoyed the Neutopia games and the Bonk games. Neutopia is a major Zelda rip-off, but its dungeon design relies more on analyzing the map of the dungeon and guessing what walls you should bomb based on patterns in the dungeon design, and also figuring out how to go over the many ponds in the dungeon using its version of the bridge item from Zelda 1. The musical style and art style are also very different from the Zelda games. Zelda fans here should check it out.
I don't know, Momiji xD It might be too crazy for me if it's that game you've posted pictures of in your LJ, which I think it is.
Lost Vikings is an underrated game everyone should try though ;o very awesome!
The game you saw is Perfect Cherry Blossom. The one qwert quoted me on is DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou, one of the hardest danmaku shmups out there-- ridiculously so.
Of course, like all other EoFF plays series, there are different challenges. You wouldn't have to play the hardest (Phantasm) stage, like I play. We could have goals set up for each difficulty setting (and believe me, easy mode is simple :D)
That game looks pretty darn tough. I don't exactly know much about games like this, but it looks like the game uses patterns to help the player figure out a path of where to go, with just how large the spaces are in comparison to other spaces between bullets. That's pretty cool. :p
Edit: I've forgotten, but are there even battle axes in the original Final Fantasy?
smurf all other games.
Go play Alpha Centuari.
This thread is now about bad games?
