Ok I'm disappointed in Psy for not having mentioned it, however I can kinda see it's slightly off topic. Recently on meeting up in London for much random fun as can be had in 1 day myself and Psy decided because it was baking hot in Trafalgar Square and I was already burning like a piece of steak we would seek refuge in the National Gallery, however being us we couldn't be normal men in the national gallery we decided to go in with the sole objective, see if we could without breaking any laws or rules get asked to leave the gallery. So starting with the "what can we say about these paintings" tactic we failed though the security was watching us quite closely, I believe because we were actually being quite comedic and several haughty types gave us decisively dirty looks. We then tried the "what random topics can we discuss in here and get kicked out for?" well I have to say, girlfriends, how free people we know are with sex (how loose they can be ect) and then finally but not least we chatted about penises, not just any penises but giant dildo penises and the fake one used in the end scenes of Hostel part 2. Needless to say this had some security guards laughing pretty damn hard but still we never got asked to leave, in the end we had to give up because we had spent around an hour attempting and failing to do this. The lesson learnt, in museums and art galleries even talking about loose women and fake penises will not get you ejected from the premises though it will draw you countless dirty looks from arty types and at the same point countless laughs from security.
I would have to say one of my favourite museums is the Natural History Museum in London though the Museum of Film and TV related things on the south bank near the Hayward center is brilliant too since it had cool things like blue screen technology, a dalek you could climb in to and do the voice and movements (yes it was an original dalek from the original dr who series which was awesome!) and stuff like that it was pretty cool but I can't remember the place's real name.
Field Museum!!!
All I can think of when I read "EoFF hits museums" is a picture of Rye punching a museum. I actually expected a photo of this when I opened the thread.
Disappointed is an understatement. :(
Natural History Museums of any sort are basically brain porn for me. Although I went to this one in America somewhere, and got locked in for the night. Normally this is just a little weird, but everything came alive and I was lucky to get away with my life. Had I not figured out that T-Rexs enjoy fetch, and that Atilla the Hun likes magic, I almost certainly would have died.
I should totally get paid for that clunky little plug there.
