i have yet to beat P3 either and I can't judge something i haven't played enough. I think I have probably spent the most in with Kingdom Hearts and KHII than most of those except for maybe Pokemon Blue, so if I would have to choose I think it would be Kingdom Hearts II.

Chrono Trigger is my fav. Then there would have to be

Breath of Fire 2 (I think it's an awesome game)

Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal (screw the remakes, they just want your money)

If you count Mass Effect: Mass Effect! If you don't count that sort of game as an RPG: Eh. Lost Odyssey is okay, as is Grandia. Pokémon games are good, too.

S'ok, Mass Effect is first and foremost, a 3rd person shooter/RPG.
